@mrfrosty @Old PH2 I have nephew, 15 years old, and all he does when he gets home from school or during vacation from school, he sits and plays video games and nothing else. His parents don't make him stop and go outside. He has zero social skills, one friend, plays no sports and thinks he is "the shits". One arrogant little fucker. I could beat his parents if I wouldn't be sent to the gray bar motel.
@DieHardDeuce Considering that I am 60% blind, I'd be spending my gaming time on the floor doing "the chicken". It would make one helluva America's Funniest Home Video though. LOl!
To be honest, they are games and nothing more. Until the gamer is actually killed in the game, the games will never be realistic and we all know that neither the publishers nor the gamers themselves are actually willing to die for a game. None of the "war games" have anything to do with actuality nor should they. They are simply game, a fantasy at best. And Call Of Duty, in its many incarnations through the years has always sucked.

From the side of the north, a book by Elijah Hunt Rhoades, who survived all 4 years of the war is also available. If you ever get a chance, drag your girlfriend with you and visit Gettysburg, PA. Very interesting and historical place. Sorry about taking over your message board.
Quinn, if you prefer reading something a bit shorter that gives an idea of what it was like to be a soldier during the war try an autobiography by Samuel Watkins. He was a confederate soldier who survived all 4 years of the war and wasn't a REMF.
@Chairborne Commandos Radio I don't think so Bro. If you prefer something a bit. More "lite", you may consider purchasing Ken Burns "Civil War" documentary on DVD which is very good wit h a lot of historical photographs and interviews with many historians on the major battles of the war.
Quinn, if you are interested in the Civil War I would recommend Shelby Foote's three volume series. It is in depth and very, very informative. It's about 6000 pages.

There were also two destroyer right off the coast of Lybia. I am hearing that the current administration had been arming the al-queda faction in Lybia prior to this "incident" occurring and that Amb.
