@DavePomerantz @Lobo You are looking at the wrong curve. I think you must be looking at the BB% curve, which peaks at around that time. Power peaks around 23-24 according to the article.

@Lobo @phattonez7 He might, but if his power is half of Cespedes now, he won't catch Cespedes unless he is an outlier. At 26, you are already on the decline phase of the power curve.

We can just sign Josh Hamilton to 8 years and if he sucks after 4 years, who cares, it's just money.

@Justincredible14 And of course, if we have infinite money as people believe, then there is even *LESS* of a reason to gamble on unknown Cuban FAs since we can just outbid everyone in the universe for the best FAs. The upcoming FA list may look underwhelming, but does anyone believe Puig will be better than Beltran next year?
