@ummabdulla @KaisMakhlouf Why you have an issue with her personality. I do not care about her motives and why she's speaking up and nor should you. Forget about the writer and deal with the facts, sad facts, that is. Show me how many writers in this day and age in the Middle East is campaigning for women's rights. But if ad hominem attacks is your style, tell me was your vagina mutilated like millions of females in that region or not. What do you think of that issue? Should men keep on cutting off girls' private parts?

Mona, thank you for this amazing article, here is the saddest part of the story, it's the women who have become believers and supporters of this doctrine that oppresses them, ceaselessly defending it and the male preachers who espouse it. A case of religious brain-washing at its best, or its worst for that matter. But that can be an inspiration for anther amazing article by you.
