How can "Only 6 percent of ecommerce is conducted on the Web today"? So 94% of e-commerce is done on irc and usenet? ;)
Dwolla is easily the most awesome company in payments, and one of the very very very few to actually distrupt the industry and not help the old, greedy, shady credit card companies. It still has to rely on banks, but I'd be surprised if they're not thinking of alternative solutions there too.
