@EveAllease What a great mission! Good luck. I sincerely hope that it works out for you. Animals really do have amazing healing powers.
@0corin Totally agree. We have a long, long way to go. But nonetheless, it does seem that progress is being made.
Great post. I can totally relate.
Great tip!
I love the optimism and fearlessness of youth. Even though I was a rather timid child, I was optimistic about what the future could hold.
@May Guise Glad you enjoyed it. And thank you for sharing the link. For those in the U.S., here is a similar link...http://search.ams.usda.gov/farmersmarkets/
@healthy_mama I couldn't agree more. I will admit that some of these changes did not come easily to me, but as I try to live more mindfully, I see the importance of making the effort. Thank you for reading and commenting.
Great post. Whatever Obama's reason - whether moral, personal, or political - I applaud his affirmative stance. He may have "waited too long" as some say, but it is difficult to backtrack on previously held opinions and, more often than not, people just dig their heels in an become more firmly entrenched in their opinion. I sincerely hope that his public stance not only ignites voter inspiration/motivation, but that it also inspires those who are on the fence or haven't considered the issue all that much to really evaluate their beliefs and opinions. We can no longer allow this injustice, inequality, and disrespect of same sex couples to continue. Nothing short of total marriage equality will do.
You might enjoy this recent post since it is particularly applicable to your current birthday...http://randomreflectionz.com/2012/04/06/the-magic-number-33-2/
Happy Birthday, Jocelyn! Totally get what you mean about feeling like you just left Madison until you go back. Wow!
An absolutely fascinating piece. Thank you.
