@ani1994 Non-muslim religions are not "accidents of birth." We have freedom to choose whatever religions we want -- if we even want it. Don't diss freedom, Ani. You can't put down what you know nothing of.
@ani1994 That's ridiculous!! We non-Muslims practice what we learned in our religion classes every day: Do unto others as you would have done to you! Treat others as you want to be treated!! It's that simple and comes into play every minute of every day. How can you be so confused?
@mahomed If you read back to the beginning of the threads, our discussions with Vasilievich have ranged from his making sense to his using profanity unlike anyone else. He simply cannot handle anyone talking about the darker TRUTHS about Islam, but I do not believe he is a militant. He loves his religion (his wife is not allowed to work!) but remains on this thread for a reason: He is listening and enjoys the verbal arguments (is his wife allowed to argue?). I, for one, have enjoyed a few of Vassy's exchanges. I do not feel the need to argue with anyone because I can argue with anyone in my family over anything and frequently due without insulting or damaging anyone's psyche. If you can just ignore Vassy's rants, you might get a glimpse into why people feel Islam is so special....unfortunately for Vassy and the rest of the world, it really isn't special at all.

@mahomed I think Mona is disappointed that no one else, besides me, has offered real solutions to the problems she describes....my solutions are inter threaded in the previous comments: One of them is to post the Girls Bill of Rights everywhere in schools....

I try to cut him a lot of slack because I sense he is on the edge of a great precipice: He's either going to go Postal or do something great with his life......
