@adambballn My buddy at work is a Wings fan. He shaved his playoff beard after game one, and the Wings have won two straight since. If they win again tonight, I am shaving my playoff beard to even out that karma.
@Aciddragon @jwoude23 Bear Down there are reasons for optimism. The whole offense struggled last year in NO relative to 2012. They had 3 different head coaches at times, and he spent the first six games without a position coach as his OL coach fulfilled HC and OC duties additionally.
Plus Brees had a penchant for holding the ball too long trying to force plays last year. Shit, Cutler does that all the time.
@adambballn and their owner seems to be willing to give him time to dig out of the massive hole he inherited.

@Preparation_A plus, I wouldn't have been pissed if Urlacher went to some AFC team Chicago doesn't play. I would have been sad, but not pissed.
I would have been pissed if he had signed with the Vikings.
@Preparation_A he's different than Urlacher, IMO, for two reasons.
1) Never the face of the franchise. That was Favre and Rodgers.
2) Hadn't played his whole career for one team.
@adambballn @Aciddragon and keep in mind Bushrod had a major down year last year and was still equivalent to Webb, who had the best year of his career (per PFF).
@Nard-Dog I am not calling either LB spot an upgrade. I'll call those a wash until I see it on the field. And their player leadership has downgraded without Urlacher.
I'm not willing to say Guard upgraded either. Louis and Slauson is more or less a wash, as they're both average players.
LT upgraded, and Webb is an upgrade over the shit fest they had at RT last year.
IMO, they upgraded at LT, RT, and TE. You know, their three biggest weaknesses last year. They also didn't clearly downgrade any other position. But a lot of unknown with coaching changes.
In his 7 years in GB, Woodson has more INTs than Oakland does Ws. Think about that.
If he wanted to win, he could have gone to Denver.
