Why would I need a tissue? My children are all professionals, successful, more so than most of you, I'll wager, which is why you have so much time to voraciously read up and follow this case and be so vicious, ugly and angry. @voiceofinsanity No dude, you don't get away with that. I raised him to believe the sky was the limit, I thought racists were in the minority and considered a joke by most sophisticated people, so he didn't even know what it was...until he experienced profiling for driving his hard earned car, and was treated like crap.I don't do the 'racecard" so drop dead, I'm about done with the rude, obnoxious attitude of most of you on here, I try and be civil, and get snide, rude, snarky remarks leveled at me. People, your class is showing.
@voiceofinsanity I'll tell you, what I hate about this whole thing is how so many damn people JUDGE and label black young men as all thugs, this could have been my own son, he is mixed black, over 6 feet tall, extremely muscular <bodybuilder> and has my name tatted on his shoulder. ALL of you would stare, be scared, and profile him as a thug, and be morons because he is in med school on his way to becoming a psychologist, is a homeowner <became one at age 24> and has worked and supported himself since he was of age. See how that works? And if you knew what it was like to ALWAYS be watched, profiled, followed around stores,pulled over for bogus reasons because you drive a nice car <MUST BE A PIMP!> you might be on the defensive too.
@voiceofinsanity Of COURSE there's no 'EVIDENCE" it involved 2 people and one of them is dead, so we will never know that side of things, now will we?
@passerby What is with you people that if someone doesn't follow in lockstep with your agenda you feel the need to denigrate them? "Wrap my head around?" Seriously? I'm not a knee jerk response type who thinks with angry emotion, and I have the ability to look at something and try to see all sides and find the truth.If that offends you, then I suppose you are the ones with the problem.
@voiceofinsanity You're not cops or law enforcement involved in this case, as far as I can tell. Just some people with issues that need to spout off.
@Tiff44 @CharlesEEvans How do you KNOW that's what happened? And why is it SO important to you people for Martin to be a "thug" who deserved the death penalty? Why are you SO invested emotionally in this? I'm genuinely curious. And don't call me "lady", unless you wish me to respond just as rudely back to you, okay?
@CharlesEEvans Good post! This case in my opinion has brought out the UGLY in people, all people, on both "sides." No one was there, but yet, every loser has an opinion that they "know for certain!" this is a clear cut case of self`defense, blah blah. No, you don't. None of know who hit who first, for all we know Zimmerman could have pushed Martin, or perhaps Martin feared for his own safety and was "standing his ground" against what he perceived as a threat, my point being, none of us were THERE, so we DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. And please don't waste my time with responding "There were witnesses!" No, there were NO witnesses as to what or who started this altercation. So why don't we just wait for the process to work and find out <hopefully> the truth?
