@adambballn @Buhlitz What does Holmstrom have to do with anything?
And yes, he did impede Howards ability to freely move around the crease and make a save
@adambballn No, Bickell bumped Kindl into him
He was already there a long time before the puck even made it to the crease, with no attempt to leave
@adambballn @Buhlitz Why? What Shaw did went directly against the rules
Lets see what NHL says goalie interference is..
A goalkeeper should have the ability to move freely within his goal crease without being hindered by the actions of an attacking player. If an attacking player enters the goal crease and, by his actions, impairs the goalkeeper’s ability to defend his goal, and a goal is scored, the goal will be disallowed.
"Shaw entered the crease freely"
"Hindered howards movement even though contact was not made at the time"
And for anyone that would say he was shoved into the crease watch the replay, you will see him was well into the crease on his own well before bickell bumped kindle into him.
Goals should be disallowed only if: (1) an attacking player, either by his positioning or by contact, impairs the goalkeeper’s ability to move freely within his crease.
Howard was backed into the net and did not have the room to move freely to come out and challenge the shooter at all. Before bickell even hit kindle into shaw, shaw was already well into the paint.
I'm confused as too why people are arguing this? The ref made the right call, funny how every team thinks the refs are out to get them. Good teams find ways to win no matter what, they deal with adversity and know its part of the game. These comments after games are just ridiculous, its always full off people running there mouth after a win, losers blaming the refs. Then next game other team wins and it switchs the other way around. What ever happened to respect, the same type of respect players show one another after they send a team home in the playoffs. Every team deals with bad calls, just gotta accept it and realize it is what it is and move on......Why? because its the cup.
@JVince 11 @J. Walter Weatherman if it didn't , xbox would automatically lose to the PS4
@adambballn technically speaking I prefer PC over all, but the PS3 was my preferred gaming console
