I've lived all over the country. This is by far my favorite place to actually live. I still visit Chicago at least yearly, but, wouldn't want to live there.
Same pay, just cost of living in Boise compared to East side of Seattle (where all the big tech companies are and where their employees live) is incredible.

About a year, year and a half ago they wanted to transfer someone there permanently. Oh man was that a giant cluster fuck scramble to not be that guy. Although, it's incredibly cheap to live there.

Boise as a whole is boring as shit. We have an office over there, everyone in the office fights to not have to go there on business.
My former boss put me on the lay off list even though I was more qualified and had better reviews than his hunting buddy who also worked for him.
He was a D End for Boise State in the 80's, so fuck Boise.
Well as soon as he does that, I'll say he deserves the name.
Until then he shall be known as Bryan Mildlydispleased.
