Dede had Trayvon out of breath like he had just finished running a marathon instead of few yards to the house he was staying in. I am a lot older but I think I would fare better than that.
@rileyjives @MaggieMoo With all due respect, where is your damn compassion? This woman has been terrorized, her life shattered and all you can focus on is how she looks? Maybe she does not have time to worry about superficial things such as looks when one is living out of suitcases, probably going from one location to another because of death threats.

you seem to be doing some serious analysis on this case. Since you are, can you give insight as to why there are different versions of what time TM left home to go to the store to the snacks for Chad. this has bothered me since the beginning. First it was he left during halftime, begging his father to go since he was grounded. Then it became father assumed that TM did not come home because he was with a cousin.
why do you suppose that Tracy Martin and girlfriend could come home at 10:15p when the cops should have still been at the scene and missed all that.
Who saw TM leave the house to go to the store to get these snacks and if they were for Chad and Chad saw him leave to go to the store, why didn't Chad report this to Tracy and Brandi upon their return home who may have been concerned then to start looking for him. They simply, in Tracy's words, went to bed.
Why did TM leave 7-11 at approx 6:30p and then not make it back to the Retreats until about 7p?
Why do you think an adolescent would walk almost a mile to the store in the rain simply to get one package of skittles and one bottle of ice tea, presumably for Chad, but nothing for himself after walking that far?
Its always a good idea to examine both side of the arguments to strengthen your own.
MSN article is reporting that GZ turned himself into the Seminole County Jail at 1:52pm today.
@dontknowme and the nice thing about me is that although I may be attacked, I won't attack back. I strive to respect everybody's perspective.
@dontknowme Yes, I was not condemning GZ at all but stating a fact that this is damaging to his credibility which will be an issue at trial. If I have been attacked for stating that, then I stand attacked. We cannot just put forth facts that support our perspective. I am not pro or anti GZ but for truth, whatever that truth may be.
@SayItLikeItIs @eclecticsandra I don't know. I really don't know. It is a lot of wrong that has been done in this case so there is a lot of accountability to go around.
@MaggieMoo yes, why not arrest the ones who put death threats on the lives of GZ and his family which made it impossible for them lead normal lives until the trial. So they could make a living, etc. and pay the additional expense that has been incurred as a result of this case. GZ probably was aware monies he reported would be taken for bond and then he would have noting to support himself and his wife or pay for a respectable lawyer to handle his case. While he and the wifey should not have lied, I can see the possible motivation for doing so after thinking about it and they truly need our prayers. I don't malice was intended.
@eclecticsandra Yes, I did say that in my post and I don't condone the lie but I can understand the possible motivation that led to the lie.
when you think about it, GZ and his wife have been pushed against the wall because death threats have made it impossible for them to work and pay bills. They now have the added burden of paying legal fees, living expenses, fees for security all without the expectation of income. I am willing to entertain the idea they were being deceptive, which is still not cool, to hide funds so they could quality for legal assistance for George and use the money collected for living expenses and perhaps get a lower bond. I think they are guilty of this rather than trying to use the money for some type of escape or they would not have turned it it to O'Mara right away. They should not have lied but I am believe they were thinking the money had it been reported would have made the bond higher and what were they going to live on in that case.
This is so sad on so many levels that GZ and his spouse are fighting to survive knowing that that money was all that they had to live on. Once again, they are not rich, they cannot work, and are virtually outcasts in a society in which they have to face death threats. Now that I think about it, I cannot even imagine the emotional hell they are going through and the choices they were left with and the only one that they are left with is trying to survive.
@MaggieMoo @curiositymakesasmartcat Yes, that could be a factor in why he and wifey lied. However, being in the middle of serious murder case is not the time to lie about significant issues. It makes GZ lose credibility big time. I have been open-minded since this started because I believe a person is innocent until proven guilty based on factual evidence. with that being said, an innocent person has to act that way especially when been so scrutinized by the public. I think GZ's goose is cooked.
@GWCarver It is looking like GZ and wifey outright lied which indicates some troubling things. I believe in giving the people the benefit of the doubt but when one is facing such scrutiny as GZ is, there are no room for lies that could be indicative of guilt or trying to jump bond. This is not child's play here.
@GWCarver I don't know what to make of GZ. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt until all the facts came in but this lying is not helping his cause and is fodder for those who believe he is guilty. SMH.
I was keeping an open mind on the GZ case and only wanted him to get a fair trial based on facts and not media evidence. However, I must say GZ doesn't appear to be too bright talking about issues such as how much money he has over a phone that anyone should know is being recorded.
@Alea1979 @curiositymakesasmartcat Such is the cruelty of life sometimes. The consequences of our choices we have to live with forever. That is why guidance especially with youth is needed. They do not think about long-term consequences which can have a profound, even deadly, effects.
@Alea1979 @curiositymakesasmartcat I wondered that myself too because obviously no matter how they met up, they did and somebody could have said something to diffuse the situation.
