Could there possibly be a loophole here?
@SCruzDodgers @dodgers1 C'm SCRUZ.
Hey have any of you heard C CAPs knows how to pitch. Too bad he's only as good as Billingsly.
@Bill Grabarkewitz i'm sure he's relieved.
@SCruzDodgers @el serracho @Mike Petriello OMG scruz you didn't say that.
it's the justinincredible chat. yea!
@MFYG @GordonMoody They have big heads, little balls and no heart.
@GoDodgers can't believe i said us. i've been here too long.
@GoDodgers test. test. checking to see if i'm unbanned. gododgers can't roll with you on this one. uribe will be gone soon and there are others on the team that give us a better chance. i have to think this stretch of starts is to make sure that he has to go.
@EephusBlue there was a fair amount of talk to day about how kershaw didn't pitch great. i thought he pitched really good especially after the first couple innings. he dominated toward the end.
@VietnamDodger @EephusBlue plus it's a brutal stadium
@VietnamDodger @EephusBlue hard to support a team that's been b-awfuls for awhile.
what's the largest export from vietnam these days besides crabs
@Lobo @EephusBlue well here's where i don't like this site's kind of post. your sentence is not bright like your assessment of the gordon situation. ned c is not making his decisions in a vacuum i can assure you. people are advising him. of course he knows how bad the players you mention are. but i've tried to explain the situation. and of course they've just lost 5 our of 7 so everybody piles on. but the record, the record carries some wait and does affect decision making.
@EephusBlue @Lobo both mattingly and acastle have said acastle is not ready. you have to belive them a little bit dont ya. what i saw with acastle was someone who could be a hitter in the future because he had a good approach and a relatively fast bat. but every at bat i saw he tried harder and harder and the swing got longer and longer. he could be really good. but not now. he needs to develop under the proper circumstances.
van slyke is a different story. his at bats were mostly horrid. he had no chance most of the time. i know nobody likes rivera but rivera has a chance where van slyke really doesn't at this point.
so in a pennant race no baseball person is going to choose van slyke and alex over the other two. but if you had some better major leaguers sure. but they don't have em right now. although i personally would dfa uribe right away because his approach is so offensive. and i can assure you don baseball hates it just as much. but he doesn't feel he has an alternative. and people on this webssite should give him a modicum of respect in their assessments.
@Lobo @EephusBlue well lobo i don't think the issue is getting rid of the players it's an issue of replacing them with what. and can you afford it. i'm sure they could get rid of uribe and rivera if they had beltre and Josh W. but they don't. i don't know what you all saw but i have to go with those two before i go with van slyke and josh fields.
@EephusBlue @Lobo it's just that all the moaning and gasping can't deliver savior ball players out of thin air.
@EephusBlue @Lobo darn eephus i missed the comments where the dodgers are fine. the most optimistic is me and i've said I'm not depressed. which isn't the same as the dodgers are fine.
@Lobo @KirkDavenport Lobo that's an impressive assessment of the Gordon situation. we are in agreement for the first time. btw scott H. is not the answer and neither is Lee. although i'm ok with Lee in September.
