@Ono @Rob W @Kievjoy Uhhh, well, the root cause of divorce is selfishness (in most cases), and the intervening factor is adultery and promiscuity, in my opinion (in most cases). One could conclude that it was straights perverting their own institutions that made homosexuality more acceptable. After all, if straights could break the rules, so could gays.

@Rob W @Kievjoy I guess lots of straight people feel that gays marrying would "cheapen" or "pervert" marriage, and that this "perversion" or "degradation" would signal the demise of a system of paternity, causing our children to doubt their legitimacy. If that's the case, we straights have already done this through irresponsible promiscuity and adultery. In other words, selfishness.
@Rob W @Kievjoy If we use the argument that gays shouldn't marry because they can't reproduce, we will also have to prohibit the elderly from marrying, as well as women and men that are unable to produce a fertilized ovum.
@Rob W Says you. Slippery slope {jk) But seriously, the validation of "gayness" on the show, that heterosexuals need gays, was kind of like propaganda to me. I guess if a gay wanted to be butch, they would live with James Belushi for a while LOL!

@Ono Gays act straight to be accepted. Just saying. I have to act like a neuro-typical to procure love and acceptance. If I get caught being myself, I am ridiculed, bashed, feared, not allowed to be around children, and any positive thing I have to offer society is treated like a macaroni collouge made by someone in gradeschool. If I do have something profound to contribute, it''t like it's tarnished or something
