@Disgruntled Goat @Kewldood69 I had Adelphia for many years because at the time (1990's) it was the only cable service in my area in the foothills. I took a long time to get the wires strung up here to get service - years longer than other areas of Los Angeles. Adelphia was lousy especially with service and maintenance and quality of signal. Then Adelphia went out of business and what was left was bought up by TimeWarner. I signed up with TW and they were so abusive and nasty, I dropped them and found Champion Cable had come into my area. Champion has been wonderful. I have nothing good to say about TW - I just hope my cable company can buy the Dodger channel feed from TW
@EephusBlue should not be too hard to make a similar Ned Colletti Lego using that same idea - he needs something to commemorate his time with the Dodgers - he surely will not rate a bobblehead doll
I have relatives who make Lego structures and then put a cherry bomb in it. I would sure like a Ned Lego to light a cherry bomb under

@DeucesWild Since Vin Scully has numerously said Uggla in Swedish mans Owl, I will go for that. If Ross Porter was still there we would have heard that at least every time at bat for Uggla instead of maybe once in a series from Vin. What is Swedish for Goat?
@Yoinkage It is amazing that Miami would have chosen to line their stadium with live aquariums (aquaria?) when they could have had such magnificent ANC signage
@Chris Jackson @Tntfan13 @Mike Petriello @DavePomerantz since Diaz will not be limited by the CBA controls on international spending, I would hope that the Dodgers would be in the mix. They often have been able to keep a lid on deals and then surprise people later. It is a risk of course, but an added benefit with going all out for talent like Diaz is that it gives future defectors and foreign players a good impression of the Dodgers who need to get that international cachet back
@capnsparrow @Amy Wong, Ph.D. Candidate Berkman when healthy was a true RBI machine (1200 RBI in 14 yrs.) - not to be confused with the ersatz RBI machine Juan Rivera (539 RBI). Hope Berkman gets an honest chance.

@Chris Jackson a CJ question. CJ Retherford looks on past paper records as being filler in the minors, however, recent improved offense and good winter ball record seems to show some ability. Given the few players in the minors listed for 3B, does he have any future? Have no comments available on his defense. Is he just another Josh Fields/Jeff Bailey AAA/AAAA bat?

CJ Retherford (minor league 3B) seemed to be the only position player with extensive success. A few pitchers did OK, but they all had so few innings pitched. I followed most of Dee's box scores - a little better hitting and OBP, but still too many fielding errors, strike outs and baserunning blunders (CS, picked off etc.). He had inconsistent playing time due to trips home, being benched or having many other SS on his team. I think he needed consistent work to keep improvement going as he started strong but tailed off towards the end offensively. He did hit some triples and I think overall he was making better contact than the last year or so.
@DavePomerantz It was not too long ago that the many thought the fate of the team depended upon infield depth like Aaron Miles and Jamey Carroll. The fan base got too caught up in their importance. Having infield spare parts available is important, but the success of the team will not depend upon them.

What is the situation with Tyler Ogle - he moved up quickly but now I don't even see him on MSTI's depth chart for the minors - is he still in the picture?
@Chris Jackson @Cat Facts Thanks CJ - personally, I would like to see TFed spend another year in the minors especially working on the hitting and being an everyday player - having the Dodgers get a veteran back up for a year in the majors - no need to rush any players through the minors now that they can purchase bodies to fill the MLB uniforms

@Cat Facts The Fangraphs Top 15 Dodger Prospects article suggests that TFed will soon overtake A.J. to become the main catcher. I am sorry, I do not see TFed being more than A.J.'s back up. Maybe not an All Star, but A.J. certainly has solid stats and is defined by all the intangibles he wields. His head is always in the game without being an intense irritating player. He leads that pitching staff like a master and I think his personality keeps lots of players loose and ready. I see him as a coach as soon as he hangs up the spikes
@ccaarrllooss "Furbush" would obviously be a name more fun to pay around with than "Howell". Think of all the innuendos the guys here could come up with for "Furbush"...
Even if you could do something with a "Thurston P. Howell the Third", it does not work as wll as Furbush

@Mike Petriello @GordonMoody I still think they (Rangers) are going to have to examine trading SS Andrus. He will be a FA soon with Boras as agent and thus not likely to stay in Texas and Texas has an overload of middle infielders. I do not expect the Dodgers to be able to get him with limited good prospects, but they should try. Dodgers would have to give up at least their 4 top prospects plus Ethier and Billingsley while paying at least half their salaries, but a solid SS you can build a team around is so vital and with no SS of value coming up in the near future...
@DavePomerantz @IBBFTW @CodyStumpo People are not realizing how little the Dodgers have to trade for their hopes of Stanton, Felix and other top players. KC sent a package of prospects for James Shields that had 3 players rated much higher than the Dodger's best prospect (Zach Lee rated #42). Toronto sent a package of prospects for R.A. Dickey that the Dodgers could in no way match even with ZLee, Puig, Reed and Pederson included.
As much as Dodger fans here prize ZLee, every team already has a prospect comparable to ZLee. Puig is rated #92 as an MLB prospect and as he is still owed $40 milion, he is not exactly marketable to other teams.
I would love to be able to trade Dodger prospects for stars, but fans here tend to over rate Dodger assets as they have in the past with Trayvon Robinson, Blake DeWitt, XPaul and many others
