@patti is ticked @Rowwdy "Why would you even click on something by Bill Maher?" I'm waiting for an answer.
@patti is ticked So my postings are?
@patti is ticked Why are you so concerned about murders?
@patti is ticked"where this happens and is considered news." Why did you even bother to read it? If you don't know about the previous conversation, Rowwdy was accusing me of posting salacious items. This seems more salacious than the Wonkett article.
@Rowwdy "Where was the clamp down?" The entire Patriot Act seemed to be an abuse of power. All of a sudden we were in danger. I read that the Boston Police were more concerned about the Occupy movement than following up on the Russian warnings. Where was all the concern about terrorists. It seemed that we were losing a lot of privacy to make up for the Inspector Cluseaus.
@patti is ticked @Rowwdy "Pissed off, because your emperor has no clothes?" No, more and more opinions are coming forth that this IRS matter is about the Affordable Care Act. It has nothing to do with the Tea Party. I still am waiting to find out how interviewing applicants when 1/3 of them used the words "Tea Party" or "patriot" in their title was harassment of conservatives. Apparently the questioning resulted in all of them passing the inspection. And the major culprit was some manager who didn't ask for a clarification of "primarily." This really seems like a Chicken Little case.
@patti is ticked Now that sounds salacious.
Just an opinion. No facts included, but it isn't salacious.
@Rowwdy In all of this we have not had any testimony on what the actual questioning was. There have been implications that the questions were beyond the scope of being primarily a social welfare organization. I don't think we should say there was a crime before we see it. It was the wrong approach to flag certain organizations, but it was not a crime unless the questioning was different from that used on the other ones.
This may replace "nattering nabobs of negativism" ... http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/compost/wp/2013/05/15/aspersions-asparagus-one-moment-from-the-holder-testimony/
@Rowwdy http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/05/18/democrat-tears-into-gop-for-politicizing-irs-hearing-and-encouraging-pollution-of-our-democracy/ It seems there is always a secret agenda. Why the subterfuge?
@patti is ticked @Rowwdy "you'd stop trying to justify the obvious crimes of that CRIMINAL Administration you friggin' worship!!!" I have yet to see any crimes. I've given you articles that discuss both sides. All I get from you is a bunch of emotion. Why can't you add anything to the conversation?
@patti is ticked "Are you fucking kidding me?" I was being sincere. Why would you question that?
@patti is ticked @Rowwdy "ASSHOLES like Bill Maher" Why would you even click on something by Bill Maher?
Rowwdy, apparently you were right. Hayes didn't edit the e-mails, it must have been someone in Congress or a staffer. http://blog.reidreport.com/2013/05/benghazi-emails-whodunit/
Saturday morning reflection: It seems we had quite a week. Mainly characterized by a lot of heat, and eventually light. It is time for Congress to get to the real business, immigration reform, jobs, budget, and more. Do you realize we had the 37th vote trying to take down ACA? Thank you all for allowing me to post here. It really helps me delve into the topics, but it's too bad that so often the conversation devolves into ad hominem responses. My posting have been accused of being salacious. Well, I guess the Wonkette article was in a way. I won't give you any more Wonkette articles. Okay?
@Rowwdy "William Wilkins comes to mind. " You are right about that. It seems his duties as counsel are quite different from administration. This problem with wording. Apparently much of the trouble was the switch from "no political action" to "not primarily political action" or the opposite, providing social welfare to primarily providing social welfare. The administration should have gotten a clarification on this rather than leave it to a decision at the lower levels.
