@BobbyEaton @coco Careful there now Bobby, using that argument anything can be a mental health issue. Some people need religion to give them a more structured "written down" morality. Some people need that same structure in order to believe in something greater than themselves. Let's not generalize, stereotype and look down upon those who don't think the way we do. While in fact it can have that affect on some it varies widely on the person, and those who have taught the person. Much like the author of this post, who gives examples in some major religions about how we are to love others regardless of their beliefs, social status, or sexuality. Those are the basic teachings of all these religions and yet people persecute anyway. They were taught or chose to believe/act contrary to the religion.
