@WBBsAs  factually if you look at the polls Palin helped McCain tremendously. it would have been a 45 state landslide without her.

@EephusBlue This is what my GF said: while abortion, birth control, equal pay, other social issues, etc, while they are all important to her they are not nearly important as having a job and paying off the debt. The economy is the biggest issue in this election.

and from my mom who is in her early 50's: abortion/ birth control are non issues because of age. economy, debt, immigration, and finally national security/defense are her highest issues

@EephusBlue I asked my GF that very question and her response was (paraphrased): abortion, birth control, equal pay etc are very important issues but if i can't get a job then why do any of those things matter?

@EephusBlue  I believe he does. if he doesn't i want someone new in 2016 but that also mean i was a republican primary not just Romney vs Dem winner.

@Shmolnick  again it's about ideals not candidates. Romney is not a Bush. I find it funny how people say the "economic policies that got us here in the first place" when those policies were the radical spending of the Bush's. As a conservative thats not what i want from a republican. thats also what i don't like from the democrats

@Mike Petriello most people believe in ideals not candidates so there is something to that as to why to vote against someone rather than for another

@Mike Petriello Why I voted for Romney,

Obama came into office 4 years ago with massive debt,  high unemployment, millions on food stamps, two wars (Afghanistan is justified by 9/11 but drawn out way to long, Iraq was Bush finishing what daddy Bush couldn't), and jobs being sent overseas due to globalization. He has done nothing to help unemployment, he has added $6 to the debt, millions more are on unemployment and food stamps. On top of that he, along with a super majority congress, pushed through healthcare. The healthcare debate is a separate issue because why should we try and fix that when we just came out of the housing market/ financial sector crash. To me thats second term icing on the cake.

Obama had his shot and he make things worse. It's time for someone else to try it out. Romney is what the Rep Party chose. He wasn't my first choice but he is defiantly qualified. Running a country should be run like a business. there is way to much spending across the board and regulations up to wazoo. Romney is going to go through every line of every department and slash spending. that is why he gets my vote.

Time for change.

as for people lying: yes both sides lie but the lies that i have heard come from Romney are only a fraction of the lies from Obama

@Tony Fernandez sure you can but where did those goods come from? you would have to start from scratch and trade what you produce. you can't come from a system you don't like but take the good created from that system and use it to better yourself. but i was mainly kidding by showing a radical oppositional viewpoint
