Great post, Srini. People overestimate how bad the bottom is. Running out of money, travel funds, business runway, etc... isn't the end of the world. Better to fail and start over in pursuit of what matters to you than to successfully live a life that you didn't actual want. You've come a long ways with Skool of Life and BlogcastFM. It's been a fun journey to watch. :-)

Srini,

I was talking to a friend the other day who lost 60+ lbs in the last year, and he brought up this exact topic. It's really easy to quit when you've failed yourself - you feel like a piece of crap.

He said when he first started trying to lose weight he would go the gym and just kind of splash around in the pool. He knew he wasn't really getting anything done, but it didn't matter. He kept showing up, day after day, even if he didn't know what to do once he got there. Eventually he started running, got a trainer, started weight lifting, boxing, eating right, etc... But it didn't start that way.

I liked your post, because I fall of the ball a lot, and find there's a lot to just showing up, even if you don't feel like you're doing much.
