Despite his coronation song "Home" making it to No.1 on I-Tunes the day after his win, Phillips said that the song was not really something he would write, describing it as "not the best song for me."
"It's a little too pop for me... but it's a very good song and I'm glad people like it. I feel like I'm a little more rock than that, so hopefully people like what I have to put out, some jazz rock stuff," said Phillips, who counts Eric Clapton and Eminem as some of his influences.

The contestants signed the contract all of them. For the teens, their parents signed it. So, I would think the contract is better than that. But I read somewhere that Tommy Mottola is in already in producing Jessica's album? hmmm just might be rumors then....

@Holtzter Again, lets not generalize. Individuals will be individuals...some will say and some will not....Like some americans have been saying that idol is rigged for the past 11 years and some saying its not. :)
@pinksupersponge And oh yeah, and if a filipino or half-filipino who wants to get the massive support of the filipino fanbase on any singing show again would probably need to top Jessica talent wise...and that will be a $%$# TALL ORDER!!! :(
@pinksupersponge No, I was talking about the 100% increase in traffic in Rickey's site because of the Filipino fanbase of Jessica. Since AI is over and Jessica hype is over, his site gets to be less chaotic. As for talent, it is the individual that is talented. And for a 16 year old to actually hone her techniques to this level just by listening to other artists is so sick amazing! :)

There's just too many good shows now. Back then AI was something new, a pioneer. Now, its an old show. They can re-engineer it, but still an old show. 11 Seasons, 11 years. They should be doing Global Idol right now, with the current media technology "ITS DOABLE!" :)

i'd like to disagree on "My All"...never liked the song and don't like it on Jessica....its not her at all... I felt connected with "I don't wanna miss a thing" the most > This was Jessica!

When Jessica was saved someone predicted she'll be eliminated after 2 weeks because that's the trend for those saved.....But I said Casey Abrams lasted for 5 weeks, maybe Jessica could last for 5 weeks too :) .... So after 5 weeks from Top 7 Redux...We are now at Top 2! YEAH. VOTING GAME now. BATTLE ROYALE of VOTING FANS!
