Just as I thought it was worth the team playing in front of a half empty stadium to force McCourt out, I'm also willing to sacrifice a season if it means that we could get rid of Colletti. The only thing that is disturbing is all the injuries that will be used as an excuse for the poor season (i.e., see Lakers). Even though Crawford, AGon and Punto are off to solid seasons I still can't let go of eating all the contract money from the four players AND giving up two sure fire MLB pitching prospects.

@plaza234 @A WHOLE NEW PURPLE (drank) Its not as if he is hitting into bad luck. He is a pop up machine which is related to swing mechanics and we know that he has been unwilling to adjust in the past.
@PagansOedipalComplex I would like to have a split screen on Mattingly the time that Cruz pops up with runners in scoring position.
@Real Tom How could you want Mattingly gone before Colletti? The idea that he thought he had a quality bench to back up a starting line-up that had an injury history is crazy. If he was over budget then he should have dealt Ethier over the winter to free up some money to get a bench that can actually play. Did we all hope that Cruz wasn't going to turn into a pumpkin? Sure, but is anyone surprised that he did. I think everyone that reads this site was thinking that they didn't have a righthanded bench OF/1B.
I don't know how you can expect much more from Mattingly. When your choices are between 4-5 guys that are .200 hitters with no power how high can the expectations be? If he had a full roster without injury and they had the same record then I'd think it might be time but not now.

Totally off subject but does anyone know a site that would show what each teams average RBIs per HR. It seems that we have a disproportionate number of multi-run HRs. over the last few years.
