Since Intel is loosing the "ultrabook" segment I am waiting for them to redefine it to now be hybrid tablet systems like the "Microsoft Surface for Windows 8 Pro".

link bait much?  Apple cannot control what the developer does with the data on their own servers. They should/could remote kill the app and void their developer account.  Not sure this fully qualifies as a Trojan versus a Developer who is taking advantage of user granted access to contact data.

confused about the Anti-Mac sentiment in the comment boards of a site called "macgasm".

I am buying an Apple designed product from Apple.  There has been a few times that i have been in a Best Buy few days after an Apple product update and see the "OLD" models at Best Buy still marked at full price.

People who are investing in Facebook are in fact investing in Mark Zuckerberg.  Personally, I would be worried about my future investment if the guy rolled in wearing anything other than his typical wears. Also, Zuckerberg is not asking for their money nor does he need it.  Facebook has been privately held up till now and has been doing well.   Zuckerberg and Facebook are allowing these investors to now get part ownership of the company so that they can sit on their ass and make money off of Zuckerberg.  Let's not get the relationship between Zuckerberg and Wall Street investors, at this point in the game, twisted.

Uh No.

Mountable Storage - I could mount my iPod as storage, and barely used that functionality. No need, and it opens up the file system. Why does one need this when there is iCloud / Dropbox.

Widgets - that are constantly running and draining power.  No thanks.

Auto Update - can be a world of hurt when a new full version update discontinues support for your iPhone 3GS. Ouch!

Format Support - what else do you need? Flash? 'nuff said.

Why do I want my iPhone to be like an Android? If i wanted an Android i would buy a cheap Android. Please keep your Android hands off my iPhone experience.

It is shady that the app info page doesn't say anything about this "expiration date".

I don't agree with this tactic, but it is an interesting idea on EAs part.

In addition to all of the things that you listed 1Password, when combined with Dropbox, allows users to have all of their encrypted passwords, licenses, files, and notes available when not on their own devices.

Apple would need to build something like this into the iCloud.com interface.

 @weberc2 It should help because it means the vulnerabilities are found in software that you can easily uninstall.

@weberc2

There is an issue with Apple not addressing the Java security updates quick enough, but I still come back to the fact that it is an issue with non-native OS X code that is introducing the vulnerability.

I think the move to ship 10.7 Lion w/o Flash and have Java disabled by default is a good move.
