@Khori Lamar That's exactly what I have been trying to say. It's not a black or white thing.

@snapsbacula If your talking about the hip-hop culture, then yes. But man it is so much more to being black. I don't sag, my car doesn't have after market rims, I don't bump gansta music, I don't smoke weed, I don't have baby mommas, and I sure as hell put a belt on EVERY morning. There is a whole different culture of blacks besides the stereotype culture media has portrayed. Check this website out http://www.blacdetroit.com/ my company and our actual "real C.E.O." was recently featured in this magazine. Hopefully this will be eye opening.

I just hear a lot of disgusting things about being black, black men, and our race period, we're not all cut from the same cloth, even if we we're from the same dye.

@snapsbacula  @Cake or Death Lol, that's funny! I actually enjoy being black. Just hate the stereotypes that come along with it.

@Cake or Death  @rrrrottenapples  @feisty99 Very unfair to make generalizations like that.

@rrrrottenapples  @DaynaGilbert To some extent I agree with you. Wow, that's a shocker I bet. Now everyone find some way to use that against me.

@DaynaGilbert  @rrrrottenapples  I'm actually a registered republican. I am not gay, my older sister is and I love her with all my heart. My views a VERY conservative. Note when you all were talking about abortions, I never once weighed in. I completely disagree with abortion. You said you were a lesbia before and I never once used that against you. I do believe that all people are created equal and that we all have the opportunity to make something out of our lives. I did from a very young age and I am really enjoying the benefits. just tired of all the fighting and hatred that is going around. I am the first to admit I am guilty just like everyone else.

I am frustrated, I feel like we're just  a lot of adults fighting like mean-girls and jockeys in high-school. VERY UNPRODUCTIVE!!!!

Okay, I am going to stop with the name calling, it's immature, beneath me, and really a waste of time. Here is what I will leave you all with. No one wants to see innocent child to be killed. The fact of the matter is, he may of had a past, he may have sold weed to his friends, which I am completely against, but does that mean he had to die? He wasn't selling drugs at that moment. George Bush and Bill Clinton both admitted to doing drugs before, do they deserve to die. Do I deserve to be racially profiled when I walk through Nordstroms, I wear a size 16 shoe, and they are the only store that always has my size; Do black guys like tyler perry who is leaving his mansion he worked hard for deserve to be a victim of driving while black. This boy was in a gated community, George Zimmerman thought negative of him before Tray had any intent to hurt him.

I agree sometimes I see other young black men who may appear to be thugs in my neighborhood and I think to myself, how did you get here. I have indeed called the police because of suspicious activity. They weren't always black either, they were White, Hispanic, Arabic, hell I even seem some "hoodish" indians before. Never once did I act like they were about to break in my house. When in fact when my neighbors house got broken into it was by two white guys.

I look at these comments and all I see is racial divide, hate, ignorance (including myself), and wonder; "How far have we really come since the civil rights movement."

I am pretty sure there's some good people on here, whites who have black friends, blacks who have no problem with whites. Really we all need to grow up past this pathetic comment board. Ask yourself, how much time of my life did I waist today? Because us posting comments is not going to solve any real issues we have in America.

Happy Socializing!!!
