It is kind of amusing how much different the media narrative is for CP3 compared to Howard, considering that Howard has advanced further into the playoffs. Both of them have annoying personalities, but people love a tyrant (see MJ, Kobe) and hate a "waffler". Both of them maximized the talent around them and then bolted for greener pastures without hesitation. If D12 had only embraced his small market team and put them on his back publicly to the media instead of just on the court, he would be held nearly in the same regard as Paul

The only reason I could see him leaving the Nuggs is that Toronto is probably a pretty big draw for international prospects and their culture embraces it. Then again, it isn't like Denver has turned their noses up at drafting Euros (see Fournier)
