If Tannehill is available in the second round maybe you take him but he'll prob go before that. IMO wait until next draft and if Cassel or Quinn can't do anything get a few. I do like Amon Gordon but while we may not need a certain position I would love DeCastro, Poe, def Trent Richardson if he's there but I doubt it with the Hillis signing. I'm excited for next season tho. Pretty good offseason pickups for once
@LyleGraversen I'm with Lyle on this one. When it comes to the draft and season there's too many hypotheticals. We need to get DeCastro or a NT,etc and worry about this year's team. We can worry about 2013 next year
@ErikBeard I've been holding on to that small hope too brother. All part of the plan.... and yet knowing KC it was never part of the plan to begin with but who knows

I think lately I finally fell off the ManningToKC dream. If Alex Smith is released would be tough cuz SEA is interested too.Matt Hasselback could be an option but I bet Chiefs look to draft one

@Adam Best @SteveOsborn If I remember right KC was going to sign him last year but he never signed a contract because of injuries. But I agree, if healthy he could be a good backup at least
@SteveOsborn I think Rex Grossman,David Garrard.....Matt Flynn and Peyton Manning are long shots. Anyone I'm missing that can compete with Cassel? Lol
If (and it's a big if) we also sign Tolbert then we could get back to that number one rushing team we were two years ago. It's a big upgrade from Battle and Jones. And get some O-Linemen? .....unstoppable
The constant changes are beginning to confuse everyone and throw the media into a tailspin ......and I have to wonder if that's not exactly what they want. Not saying Manning is signing with us just that that is how things work around here. Very secretive. But also I've been thinking today has anyone suggested maybe Peyton is trying to see where Wayne,Saturday,and others sign before he makes a choice??
@laddiemorse Haha yeah that was my first thought about Miller/Dumerveil but I guess I mainly meant the secondary. Champ Bailey is old and if it were me I'd rather throw the deep ball against Den than KC imo
NT and backup positions for KC could def use some work tho
No doubt in my mind Elway wants Manning and he would be an upgrade from Tebow but here's what ppl are forgetting .....Would you rather play against KC's defense or Denver's? Don't get me wrong Denver has a good defense. But not great like KC
Hey everyone this is my first post to Arrowhead Addict so first wanna say Patrick,Big Matt, and all the writers I love your articles and the site As far as Peyton Manning goes if Pioli wants him bad enough, and he wants to play here, I don't think it would take much to get done. All you have to let him do is be Peyton.....everything else will be audibled from there lol
