@Hogfan http://stats.nba.com/playerShotchart.html?PlayerID=201600&SeasonType=Playoffs Asik's shooting chart from the playoffs.
@El Prez But I agree on the Perk premise, I was just talking about the hypothetical of tax funding for player salaries.
@El Prez Not me. They got us by the balls. We already tax funded the arena and downtown improvements, and they are going to continue to perpetually raise prices and make cheap personnel moves and refuse to sign anyone who wants a lucrative contract, then just play the "no money, small market" card and we'll just agree and run around repeating it like some sort of slogan.
And if they don't get their way, they'll threaten to move or sell eventually like the Magic and other small market teams do and get more money out of us since the Barons unfortunately can't carry downtown's economy by themselves.
@OBoy @long arm of the law they'll get their chance in a few seasons when we can't pay him. Small market
@Lost Ones @Old Man Game He seems like a good teammate, he doesn't sulk on the bench and seems to have good chemistry with everyone in warmups and during the game, but mostly the end of bench Tulsa guys. That said, he deserves to find a team who will play him. It's not like he is a scrub with no game left.
@Lost Ones @cfountain Teams like the Heat and Pacers can take spot up shooter only dudes out the game, easily. He needs to work on his post game. When you are 6'10 and the other team puts their 2 guards on you and you can do nothing to make them pay, that's sad.
@bmuelle22 @Daniel Hawaii @Old Man Game @Fezzy @elginthunder There's no chance Dennis Schroeder falls to the Spurs, is there? I feel like he'll be an all star if he does, knowing nothing more about him other than highlight tapes, this combine, and that he's from Germany. It's what they do
@cfountain @Ibaka's Jumpshot @Sup' Bruh' the Celtics were a superteam big 3 pairing. The Heat obviously. The Mavericks who won the title were tremendously over the cap. It's hard to win and be cheap. At some point, you will almost be forced to pick one
@cfountain @Ibaka's Jumpshot @Sup' Bruh' agreed, so if we were almost on that level, why take a step back to save money? What if Pierce gets bought out and goes to LAC after they resign CP3? What about when Love can leave Minnesota in a few yrs. He's a shell of his former self, but who will Dwight team up with? What are the Lakers going to do in 2014 after everybody comes off the books plus they have all that tv money?
Scott Howard Cooper just suggested that Shabazz Muhammad might fall all the way out of the lottery. I really hope we don't draft him
@Bry Bry @Ibaka's Jumpshot @Jooseppi bold prediction when we are describing a guy who has improved his numbers every single yr in the league and in his first yr as Batman lead his team to the postseason with no all stars AND Houston has money to get another all star this summer.
@cfountain @Ibaka's Jumpshot @Sup' Bruh' True, but when guys are teaming up leaguewide now and forming superteams and then their f.o's are complimenting them with good players worth their salary, not to mention you have a convoy of guy who take less than market value to go to said cities or team up with said player, it gets tougher.
There is talk of CP3 and Howard teaming up somewhere this offseason, maybe Howard and Smith, the Lakers failed this yr but not for lack of trying and in 2014 they have lots of cap space and we know they are willing to spend.
Let's not take contendership and KD and Russ's primes for granted
@Bry Bry @Jooseppi Wanting to get your worth makes you an egomaniac? You will be disappointed to find out our current rookies probably are too when the time comes
@ I’m out man. Y’all n***** trippin’ @Ibaka's Jumpshot Both. You just constructed a team that made the finals on the back of 23 yr olds. We fell just short. So let's get everybody locked up and go at it again, at the least give it a year then reevaluate.
@Sup' Bruh' tell us how you really feel. He sits in section 120 by the way (too cheap to spring for the better sideline courtsides I imagine) if you ever want to tell him in person
@Amnesty Perkins @Ibaka's Jumpshot @ I’m out man. Y’all n***** trippin’ I don't like Monroe as much as most because of his poorous defense, but yes. He is young for one and he is still on rookie scale so he can be here for a while.
@cfountain @Sup' Bruh' but if you lose KD and/or Russell, how much money do you lose? Ask Cleveland lol. You better go get him a ring before he has the option to become a free agent
