Although Ive got 2 chapters to go, I too am inspired by Swirling. I read Chris' story on her site before the book came out. So I saw here as living proof of the hope after single motherhood. So we should never give up. Having my son has only made me desire the best in a mate and in life.

This is why I love france! My beautiful good friend, who is fine, white, 6'3 and from Lyon France, LOVES black women and it's perfectly acceptable there! We (my 3yo & I ) Stayed with them for a 10 day vacation and his parents fell in love with my son and are praying for a mixed grandchild someday! It's crazy but there they love who they love and it's not sen as a crazy fetish. i remember seeing this gorgeous tall model looking dark chocolate colored beauty with a perfect afro and dressed to kill passionately kissing this magazine model looking european dream boat in the train station, look like one of them was going on a trip. It was soooo beautiful. you could see their love.But it's not like the sates where people would look and say oh he must be in it for the wild african sex or something stupid like that. Im so excited to be moving back to France next year! I encourage us Swirlers to consider France if you want a normal happy life while swirling =)
@LorMarie I understand you and with a 3yo would have done the same. But i too am notorious for calling the cops on bad drivers, people in need, etc, & wish the bastard could have done that! Its so crazy because after 9/11 NYers wanted the worlds sympathy but they are so hateful. France isnt perfect but this would have most likely not happned there due to color...Is so ssad

THere is always help for everyone else, but black women & children have no allies! So we must put ourselves first!! Dont worry about others they have armys waiting to search for missing white kids even when the parents are the killers! Lets protect brown skin women & children! And the worst part is that he too is part black! If black wives are so damn bad then where are the public complaints from the white men who marry then, since most black men just hit & quit. So laugh at the beginning and take great offense at the end. Just because he is brown doesnt make his words ok. he simply knows its not ok to hurt the white woman in public but it is more than fine to dehumanize the black woman, hell it's expected!
