As a Duke alum (I know I can go fuck myself), I think most schools do a good job with security. It's the principle that gets me. It's pretty sad when almost every team has a shot to make magic in March and go on a memorable run in the tournament, but somehow beating Duke on a Thursday night in February is so much more important than that. Every team circles the calendar when Duke comes to town, and no team handles that better than Duke, the school that expects to be there when all but four teams have games left on their schedule. These fans/schools should celebrate a victory over Duke, but at least act like they have loftier goals.
No way Coach K let's that slide. As a Hated Duke alum, I was at a game being reffed by Dick Paparo, who made a terrible call, so we started chanting "you suck Dick! You suck Dick" Coach K got on the PA and told us to stop, we are better than that. Next bad call we all started chanting "you suck Richard"
My new years resolution is to bring back outdated expressions that once were popular... Whasssuuppppppp!!!!!!!
