The worst attribute of the 'Hawks is definitely their fanbase. The people of Chicago and the surrounding area are the most pretentious, pompous, sad little beings that have ever lived.

These contracts this offseason are just too much! As much as I wanted some players, I don't blame Holland for not emptying the bank. I heard that in the new CBA salary caps may be less anyway.... We really need help on defense. I'm content with our forwards now, with Gustav Nyquist becoming a full timer, and I have high hopes for Damien Brunner. Guess well have to keep waitin for something to happen, Go Wings!
@Twig Yeah I really like Nyquist too. Had a hard time deciding where I would put him. It probably would be better to put him on a coring line to let him develop.
We gotta get rid of Cleary. He was off his game all season long, played better in the playoffs though. I know his knees were an issue but is that really going to get better? If we dumped Cleary and, as much as I love the guy and don't wanna say it, Holmstrom we could get a solid offensive forward to provide the depth we need. Our lines could look something like this

Solid 3rd and 4th lines, and if the replacement is good enough we could put him on the 2nd line and have Dats and Z back on the same line which would be awesome!!!
Miller has been playing great! Before the season I thought he may be replaceable as well. I stand corrected. Jiri Hudler has also stepped it up big time!!
