@JFed56 You know bars have seats too, right? So do casinos. It still comes down to adults making the right choices.
The biggest drawback I see is all the bathroom breaks. ;)

@MichaelShaw I wasn't comparing him to those guys, but Achilles injuries can often be tougher to recover from than ACLs.
1 year ago on Brandon Siler Returns
Achilles injuries are no joke, so good to see Siler back so soon.
Hated the pick at the time, but if he develops like his athletic ability suggests he can, he'll be a monster on the line for years to come. He seems to have the right attitude for it too.

@stevejames21 Anything less than 7-0 will be disappointing.

Eric Winston should be on this list. The Chiefs are probably going to run a lot behind him and Asamoah, and if the Chiefs have a dominant running game, Winston, being the newcomer, is going to get a lot of the credit (and probably deservedly so). He already has a rep as a Pro Bowl level talent anyway.

@jdundore Jackson seems motivated to be a better pass rusher this year. It will be interesting to see how successful he is with that. Certainly Poe could have a big impact there. I just hope Jackson doesn't forget where his bread is buttered, and becomes Gilberry 2.0.

@Ark_chiefs Hillis will earn him a fat new contract with another team, IMO. I think Gray will be the #2 back next year. I do agree that things are set up nicely for Hillis to have a big year though.
@Arowhead_Addict @chiefshawn55 I'm excited to see what Daboll does with Dex. The only "problem" might be a lack of opportunities, with so many offensive weapons now, including rookie Wylie, who has a chance to be a huge steal in the draft. That could also keep Baldwin's numbers down somewhat, though I expect him to make huge strides.
@ArrowFan We're in good shape, if that's the biggest question. Haley/Muir set the bar pretty low, so he almost can't help but do better.

I don't see how he could possibly supplant Winston as the most important signing, but I think he could really be a great signing. Although I agree that he's more than just a short-yardage back, that's been a big weakness in KC for years. Even when they led the league in rushing, they still sucked in short yardage. Hillis should definitely help in that area, with everything else being gravy.

@tm1946 Yeah, RAC said one of the things they loved about him is that he never quit, no matter how many snaps he played nor what the score was.

@jakl That doesn't quite fit the rumors that Pioli was unhappy with Haley, and considered firing him at the end of the 2010 season.
Excellent article, but I do have one quibble: Poe has an enormous ceiling. The question is not his ceiling, but his floor. His ceiling is through the roof.
Not a splashy name or anything, but the interior of the line is looking really good now.

How do you figure Baldwin is a headcase? Because Thomas "team leader" Jones got into his third locker room fight with him?
Fantastic article! I couldn't agree more!

@Chiefs Fan From Houston Pioli's office doesn't handle the business side. That's Mark Donovan's deal. Otherwise, yeah, but I took it to be tongue in cheek.

@Ehud I get what you're saying about a 3-down NT, but if Poe wasn't that great in a mediocre conference in college, what makes you think he'll be able to do it in the NFL? Someone with his athleticism should have been dominating against the kind of competition he was facing. I wouldn't be against taking a chance on him, but not that high. He's a project, who probably wouldn't be a big contributor for at least a couple years.
