I read here a lot of blame being thrown around at a number of people on the Thunder. Obviously the coach will always take the blame for the loss. I don't think Brooks is the best coach, I just think that he does what he can with what he has. I think if the injury to Russell doesn't happen, were all singing a different tune. Perkins is garbage. Durant hasn't shown up in Memphis. Martin is an Idiot. Fisher is played out. We can't close out games anymore and please don't get me started on Ibaka.
The bottom line is guy's, that being angry is fine. Being upset after such a stinking loss is completely natural. But for real, how many of you actually believed that we would pass Memphis(which we still can)? Really how many thought that we had a real chance over the span of a series against the Grizzlies( who by the way are a very very good team )?
I't doesn't even matter because all good team's have issues. Adelman or even Phil Jackson wont change that.
We have a good team, good players, good staff. Didn't have the best of luck though. Russell's injury really finished things up for us. We depend on him and so do all the players and when he or KD go down then all of a sudden we look for the bad man, the guilty party. All of a sudden when we lose Brooks is a moron (although to be fair, people on here have been on his back for years.) I think we really need to be thankful that we are playing well enough to compete in this series. Every game is close. Every game the guys are fighting. Its there and you can see it on each and every one of the players. They are giving it everything and we really should just be grateful and look foward to next year.
