Wouldn't get too excited over this- the new company is listed to a private (albeit very nice)  house in Bingley. I think the first sign that the take-over has gone through will be when all the windows at Elland Road have been opened to get the smell of pissy old man out.

@kentwhitestu You speak from the heart stu and like most on here are a true Leeds supporter- but exactly the kind of supporter B*tes loves. Unquestionable loyalty, follow the team through thick and thin and keep giving whilst he keeps taking. It's not fair on the team I agree but we must start standing firm together against this terrible regime.  B*ates won't stay around if he's not making money, we just need to show him he's not getting ours.

@number1inyorkshire You and me both my friend-along with the rest of my matchday mates. Seven blokes, boozing from 12-2:50 with a couple after the game. It may not have cost b*tes millions but it gave us a warm fuzzy feeling inside!

@number1inyorkshire What's so difficult about not going in the Pavillion?

There were good ideas like yours nearly every week last season that gained plenty of "let's do it's" on the forums but never really materialised in reality. I took the decision last season to give nothing to bates so we boozed at the white hart and even took our own coffee into the ground. Seven of us decided not to renew this year (a killer decision) and it's looking like a good move but the only way to get this crook out of our club is to limit your spend at the ground. No members bar, no half time pint and rip-off pie, no quick-one after the game. Bates is simply money orientated and, as can be seen by his business history-if the money ain't there, he'll go.

"I hope if he signs he wil be spitting at others not Leeds players"?... Well that's alright then. Do you realy want this piece of shit associated with Leeds? Every club he goes to is last chance saloon and they usually can't wait to get rid of him after some nasty incident/s or other. And unfortunately you can't separate the football from everything else with this guy as most of his misdemeanours happen on the pitch!

Have we really become so disillusioned with the football at ER that Diouf is seen as a decent footballer???  Do you think Uncle Kens biscuit tin will stretch to spit guards around the boys pen?

My all consuming hatred of this scumbag aside, I grudgingly admit that he can look a decent player. That is when he's on the pitch and not in the nick, suspended or chasing small ballboys around with murderous intent. There are many, many more players out there with better ability but without a temperament that belongs in Rampton. A liability that we do not need.

Diouf is not better than our current squad! He was rubbish when he played at Blackburn which is why they offloaded him to the Rankers. Turns out they didn't want him either because he caused more problems within the team than he did help win any games, so off Doncaster he went! Turns out he was just as shit there now they are in league one! Remind me what is so good about the talentless dirty useless wanker that is Diouf!

Never has a more despicable piece of shit walked the footballing planet. A very average player with the ability to wind up his own team mates and divide the dressing even before he gets to the opposition.  Add into that his delightful penchant for gobbing on small children and you have a human(sic) that you wouldn't touch with a shitty stick. Please don't sign him Warnock, I enjoy my days out at ER but no way will I pay to watch that.

I've just nearly sicked up me Cornetto reading that. If diouf signs then it will give me even more justification for not renewing. I will never set foot in Elland Road as long as that filthy lowlife wears a Leeds top.

Be carefull what you wish for! We've no idea what the old twat has been up to with our money for the last 7 years. A full tax investigation may turn into a Glasgow Rangers sized tax bill aimed at the club!

I've being in denial since the rumours started circulating this morning but the news is gradually sinking in. I can only say that I am astonished at the complete and fucking utter disdain that Bates has for the Leeds fans. He still expects us to believe the same old crap rolled out every year over "contract talks stalling" and "greedy demands". Our renewal forms have been staring at me for the last few days:- "should I, shouldn't I"? Well decision made tonight. I want to roll them up and stick them up Bate's wrinkly old fucking walnut. BATES OUT.
