I just wanted to officially check in. I peep in here and there. Fatherhood in this little girls first year has gotten the better of me.

I miss the crew. Though I must say the efforts to navigate the 2010- err- Carmelo Anthony abyss appear to have back fire. I think Woody rode Melo into a nub like a mule since STAT couldn't get back in or fit in around Mel Mel. Before then D'Antoni ran STAT and then Lin into a nub. Since NY Knicks fans want results you have to hit the accellerator. Before then, Riley only really had Ewing and had not choice but to run him into a nub. Help arrived to late for Ewing like it appears to be uncoordinated for STAT and Melo. Isn't this why I wrote my Art of War article. Advising the franchise against going in for STAT and then Criticizing MSG when they began to overbid for Melo.

I'm right more often times than I'm wrong. I honestly think the Knicks should rest their core players if injured. If they can't get back. Oh well. If they can- time limits and other days off if needed. I'm already thinking about next year. Woody needs to be more conscientious of how he manages STAT and Melo's time and they need to get off geezer mold. Camby earning mini MLE and doesn't really contribute. Kurt Thomas? Paleolithic Kurt Thomas? Kidd has something in the tank but he is not the speed racer this young man's game requires. He's a fill in 2nd teamer and occasional closer at this juncture.

Dumb and Dumberer in MSG Woody ask for an OLD Seasoned Team, Glen Grunwald obliges with a group of stinky rotting dinosaurs. Now that's some seasoning. No wonder the Knicks are decomposing as they attempt to make the playoffs. Like in human physical dynamics when one joint or part is limited the body may over work the other and the ill of the first gets compounded into the wear of the second.

I hoped the Knicks get things right soon or if not in 2015. I can't take it any more. Why root for a terribly managed organization. Why! I'd rather watch small ball and small markets. At least they have an excuse.

Also Chandler is the most one dimensional player in the history of the NBA. A 7 footer w/ no post moves, no mid range to mid deep jumper, no drop step, jump hook, baby hook. They game is a joke when a man as big as Chandler has no clue in the post. No wonder why Lebron puffed him b/c Bron knew Chandler- absent a lob pass- is A TALL SKINNY CLUELESS PUSSY IN THE POST!

BRICKS and KNICKS! I'm glad I'm not watching any more.

Reload and retool don't try to kepp up w/ the Jone's and Bron's this year.

If you ever listen to Orange and Blue do it now. Don't grind Melo and STAT and Chandler in further nubs.

And by the way 2015 get it right or don't go for it again like fools in 2010.

I've been write ever since I started writing. I labor of love now supplanted by my fatehrhood. It pains me to see this joke of franchise building. Cheers to the Nuggets, Thunder, Heat, Grizzlies, and Clippers. Doing it right. Heck even Brooklyn has more of a clue. Sad sad sad sad sad sad!

At this point I'd love for do over and the Denver trade and on passing up the 2010 fools gold abyss. The Knicks could have fielded a team w/ David Lee, Danillo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler, Zach Randolph, J.R. Smith off free agency, Iman Shumpert, Could have drafted Brandon Jennings to push tempo, could have signed Felton as his back up and would have had mini offers for guys like the Bird man, Amudson and even KMart and then signed some old vets for a littel and just enough seasoning. And, oh yeah, Mozgov could have helped some. But no NY Knicks are the most desperate and misguided sports franchise ever. PERIOD!

Same pattern ride the mule and ruin the Knee. D'ANtoni couldn't help himself when he ran STAT down, he couldn't help himself when he wore Lin down, Woodson (dumb ass turd) couldn't help himself now that Melo is all run down. For games he was telling Dumb as a Wood Block Head Woodson about his kneeds. But Woodson like the Knicks desperately where trying to keep up w/ the Bronses. Aint happening. Ewing faced the same fate and help arrived way to late. The NY Knicks Achilles Knees are a product of terrible front office management.

Just imagine instead of having the Decriped NY Nuggets, the Knicks could have had a young and deep team w/o paying for an inunsurable Stoudemire and overpaying for Melo. I hate the MSM. Those turds encouraged the franchise to trade the barn for Melo and scoffed when T'Man and I criticized them for it. You know why I was against it? Because if you trade the barn for SMelo and then can't keep him and STAT on the floor together and you have no assets for a Chris Paul, who's doing excellently thank you very much. Then you are playing checkers as a front office w/ other front office who are playing GO and Chess on the NY MSG Dumb Assess. The Knicks are buried under the Carmelo Anthony Abyss. Their only hope is to live to fight another day and in 2015 do it right and if not don't get all desperate like in 2010. YOU HEAR ME JAMES DOLAN AND MSG?!!!!! STOP FUCKING THINGS UP. HOW DARE DOLAN RAISE TICKET PRICES WHEN HE FIELDS A GERIATRIC TEAM W? STAR MULES WORN TO A NUB AND NO COORDINATION AS TO HOW TO SPARE THE MULE THE DEATH THAT AWAITED EWING AND LEBRON WISELY WANTED NO PART OF!

Hey Peaceman,

So what now. You know like you I'm rooting for the Knicks. But I think the organization, it's coaches and GM's only know one way to do things. I'm not going to blame Melo or Amar'e for the slide. That's the GM and the Heads of MSG rolling dice on a player several years back I was weary of getting (recall my warning about not getting STAT) and I was also right that Denver got too much in the deal for Melo. But I can't blame the players it's the management that makes lame decision. Heck even the lame decision to listen to Iso Joe (now melo) Mike Woods who insisted on getting an old team of experienced veterans. Management took the Woodson too seriously and literally getting a supporting cast that is one bad tweak away from being on walkers, crutches strollers or wheelchairs.

Always the desperate franchise. I hope the Knicks do the smart thing and conceded the battler. They can't match the Jone's of the world this year. Regroup get your stars and core to heal and then reload and relaunch next year with a per minute limit on Melo and STAT and even Chandler. Woods, D'ANtoni, wore down STAT, Lin and Melo and Riley who clamored for help for Ewing had no choice but to wear Ewing to a nub before the Gm's could bring in help. But by that time Ewing was in decline. Hence Lebron James didn't want to be a 30 year old superstar w/ bad Knees and no rings- you hear that MSG? You head that? Build it right next time. But in your defense ... a story for a different day, which I no longer have the time or desire to write.

Hell chaps! Great win 2-0 to start the season and doing it with defense, ball movement and without the full assortment of key players- Shumpert, STAT, Camby. This coach has more gravitas and pull with the group conjured up before him than the Phony and his gimmicky novelty - now in Houston. I love it when the Knicks roll out- and ROLL UP- their human victory blunt. Rashee- the weed- Wallace!

Stay safe bro's I'm down for LBE's on weekend games- mostly Fridays. If anyone else is down for that I'll make myself available. Cheers!

Glad to read from the many voices in the KFB crew. I'm glad all are well and with power back. But most importantly with their families in tact. I look forward to chiming in on comments from time to time. The writings I would like to submit, I no longer have time to submit. But I will always be a part of this Bball family. Maybe when conditions change, and my little lady allows me a moment, I'll post something up for consumption.

Cheers to all and stay safe and sound!

@Peaceman She's good. Held me back from catching the game on time. I only caught it during the end of the first half. I'll join you over at the Knicks blog.

@MJ20  @Delshay There's more that went into deciding whether to retain  Fields/Lin versus going for more with the savings in money that resulted in more players though mostly longer in the teeth.

@Auggie  @Orange_and_Blue Auggie. It's a shame this blog has devolved. I miss writing and adding some decent assesment of what's going with the Knicks. No more time. Got a little one. I hope some day to get back to this. Won't be soon. All I can say is the Knicks big three certainly is unlike any other of the current vintage. There are reasons in my estimation that this is so. But is it the best approach. Who knows.

@Tman  @Steady I agree with you about fame. I'm pretty sure I'm reacting your still existing angst about letting Lin and Fields go. Yeah you're right it's work tending to Q'ori, still I wouldn't change a think dirty diapers and hands and all. So strange that as difficult as it is to be on call for a little one, you just can't wait to get home to see the little one. Aint life strange. Cheers Sensei!

@Steady  @Tman I'm with steady, when Lin's entourage steered him to Houston and he accepted the ridiculous offer (that he has every right to sign) he ceased being a Knick. Now he is just more MSM media shyt to skewer the Knicks about. Ta ta Lin! Don't let obscurity hit your ass as you walk out the door.

@Tman  @Peaceman Yes a little disdainful immaturity on part. But I get the feeling if Lin were just a black baller all the hype would be nill. He's the Asian hope. Let me repost for your reply sans the vitriol.  T'Man if you've been at this blog long enough, you know that I've written articles on the 2010 summer and the Melodrama. In both I suggested the Knicks should skip pass if they ended up empty (only STAT on the FA bin) or the price was to high (like when Masai Ujiri heisted the Knicks like rank amateurs in that trade). You know where I stood. But that is done, though I had often wished the Knicks would not be such a knee jerk organization, they are just that. Maybe it's the owner. But STAT was signed under Walsh's watch and Melo was acquired under that watch as well.If Walsh was really the shinning night on a White horse against all the madness that is MSG then he would have resigned when the Knicks came up empty in 2010 and only had Stoudemire scraps to attract by overpaying. He should have fell on the sword and told all about the mismanagement that is MSG. Still he played along. That makes him an accomplice that helped close out one of the worst eras of Knicks bbal mgt. with yet more dubious knee jerk mgt. Still now that we are past  those clear miscues, I see a silver lining and believe Grunwald has done a yeoman's job of regathering the pieces to contend. TWT. I have a read to get on on LIn and be done with it. I agree with Steady LIG. Lin turned his back on the Knicks. Fuck him! I'm a Knicks fan not a [Lin] lover!

@Tman  @Peaceman Doc was a one hit wonder playoff entrance and exit in Orlando. Woodson took the Hawks to the 2nd round pretty consistently and took the Championship Celtics to 7 games. Give him some credit as well.
