Strength is underrated right up until you have to get KD the ball in crunch time and he has to catch it 35 feet out.

@TheresABabyFaceUnderMyBeard @Crow Yep, we've got the core, we need rotation players on rookie deals.

@Steve H You guys realize, if we do this, we must one day acquire Javale McGee? I mean, if we're going to salvage Thabeet and Cousins, may as well go for the trifecta, right?

@TempBoy Brandon Great point. This gets at what I think the problem is for this Thunder team. Brooks isn't a terrible coach in a vacuum; Perkins isn't the worst basketball player ever in a vacuum. But when you take a player with a specific skill set but below average overall play and give him to a coach that allocates minutes on a yearly basis, it's a recipe for disaster. The Perk trade was a perfect example; Perk had an undeniable influence on the defense, but the trade of Green allowed Ibaka to start and Harden to emerge on the bench. Now it's Perk (and Fisher to some degree) playing minutes we'd rather see go to Lamb, Jones and the rest of the bench.

@Jax Raging Bile Duct Notice you don't mention SVG, do you put him in the group with Phil, Sloan and Adelman, or with VDN, Scott and Frank?

@Russ is My Hero Ball I thought that article was a bit over dramatic. Then again, one of my friends is from Cleveland.

@T-Fred  They should amnesty Kobe.

@GeezerSpeak @sammasaaron That's what I mean, though. Last season Reggie only got time due to Maynor's injury. This season, even when Maynor started to improve Jackson got time. I think that's why Lamb never got a look. He came at the end of training camp and Brooks was more comfortable with Liggins because he had him for the whole camp. I think it's dumb but there ya go.

@GeezerSpeak @sammasaaron I wouldn't get too down on the talent development. Reggie is evidence that playing time in a season under Brooks doesn't necessarily reflect on talent. That's what I keep telling myself anyway.

We need a separate area for draft talk. It's a relevant discussion, I'm just too lazy to tolerate all this scrolling.

@Archaeon @Legendary_Dork @T-Fred  I would rather have a coach who says basketball things to and about his players rather than things like "He has a pure heart".

@alvarex @Amnesty Perkins @Legendary_Dork @bmuelle22 Yeah, the problem with Perk isn't that he can't play, it's that he's paid way too much and really shouldn't be starting. Brooks seems pathologically incapable of playing anyone situationally, though, so probably a bad fit for the Thunder.

@Amnesty Perkins @sammasaaron @PerkPush-ups  Not possible. Liggins is two years older. Therefore, there were at least two years where Reggie could not score on or defend Liggins. Due to nonexistence.
