@Danny Brown It's our main website built in Drupal so no change to RSS... very peculiar :)

@Danny Brown I just started with a new company and saw this. Not sure of the history with changes but something happened somewhere...
What do you mean by 'change the RSS feed'?

Any thoughts on why a site would log Trackbacks up until a certain point and then fall off a cliff? We should have consistent trackbacks due to news coverage and such but looks like we flatlined at 0 back in September 2012. Appreciate your thoughts/help!

Few things come to mind for this one.
- Rattlesnake in Arizona - it was slimy. I'll leave it at that.
- Chicken heart in a Brazilan restaurant - awful.
- Frog legs in Canada - the buffet was written in French and I thought they were chicken fingers. Not too bad though!

I needed this slap in the arse Ken - thanks. Ive been using my redesign as an excuse for the break but it's only hurting me in the end. I need to find some balance because so much of my life is consumed by marketing - but I love it. Im trying to get back to more regularity and have some great post ideas. Stay tuned :)

Im not sure about the actual street but I can tell you that I live in Lowell, MA in one of the original mills. Lowell was the first city in the US to use hydro power to power the mills which I think is pretty interesting and they preserved the buildings very nicely so some still have the original machinery in the lobby. What I love about my building is that my Memere worked there as a seamstress making pajamas when she came to the US from Canada. My mom also worked in the building when she was in high school. The mills have only been apartment lofts for about 3 years so it was very cool for me to invite the family over to see the building they had once worked in.

My 2012 review included the words 'you are too transparent'. :)

I am very careful about who I accept into my network and very much hate the canned LinkedIn text that people just dont delete. Takes 2 seconds! Lots of people I know just hit accept all the way down the list but I dont. In fact someone called me out on it recently and said 'well I cant see your email since you didnt accept my request'. My response 'I have no idea who you are and never met you so until that happens, I will decline' thank you very much. Im glad I do this because when you are job hunting, people will call your connections. If your connected and the person cant recall who you are, that will just look bad.

The company that I am with now is the first time that I have had a team spread out across multiple countries. We use Google Hangouts and GChat constantly! I didnt really like the idea of video at first but now when I am emailing or chatting, I say 'do you wanna hangout' and the answer is always yes. Some things are better face-to-face but it just doesnt make sense to fly all over the country all the time when technology enables interaction instantly. And - when it comes time to seek new talent, you are not limited by your geo.

I was in traffic and saw someone with the newspaper spread across the steering wheel. I could not believe that one! Also spotted in Boston - someone playing the trumpet. Seriously.

@KDillabough Maybe Ken could've asked 'what food are you craving right now?!?'

@KenMueller I would eat pizza every day for all 3 meals if I could get away with it.

Food = PIZZA - I swear Im going to serve pizza at my wedding one day :)
Band/Musician = tough one for me to answer (no that's not the name of a band). Estelle?
TV Show = Dance Moms - something about it takes me back to when I used to dance but I dont recall my mother acting like that or wearing faux fur vests every day
Book = Summer Sisters by Judy Bloom - I could read this all day every day and never tire of it
Sports Team = I should say something like the Red Sox or the Patriots or Celtics or Bruins but I dont care about any of those. I just like a good game so whoever is not always winning would be my answer.

My biggest problem with these scores is that the people who are using them and referencing them are not educated about how they are acquired and the immaturity of the algorithm itself.

I always thought this idea was awesome. Not only are you building video content, you are fueling conversation on your Facebook page and adding additional medium on your blog. It's so well-integrated, I wish I had thought of it! A lot of people may struggle to get questions asked via Facebook so another suggestion may be to answer questions asked on LinkedIn in your video and then link to your YouTube channel in the discussion. I need to dabble in more video myself!

These are all great ideas (I love the salon that is promoting the stylist's open slot - awesome!). When I first joined the company I am currently with, they immediately asked me to include the fact that I worked there in all my profiles. They wanted that connection between me being an employee of the biz and me being a person out here interacting with communities. It was actually the first time a company ever asked me to do that and I thought it was great. We also struggled to figure out how to use sites like Pinterest and even Facebook but gained some traction when we started posted pics of our offices and our employees, events we were at and just fun things in general.
