I am so glad I found time to comment on this post! For me, I spend my money on things that would really really matter to me in the long run - education (I got enrolled in Masters just last Fall so as to study what I wanted to), books, vacation with family. Otherwise, I am not the kind who spends on too many clothes, fancy gadgets or things that I don't really need. If I am doing fine with a phone, I don't feel the need to buy a "smarter"phone just because it is in the market. I feel one needs to spend money on what makes sense for them. If it is clothes, then so be it. It is after all what makes you happy - you just need to find out what will make you happy for like five second and what makes you happy for always - but then isn't that all just a risk we are taking.
Hope you have a wonderful day!

I love your desk! Its so super organized! :)
Sometimes it does get tough to present our authentic sides - especially for me. I am not always able to say it like I really feel about it, if you know what I mean! :)

@Cathy Tittle Sometimes resisting can be tough. I can understand but then you so love it after you get it that makes the guilt look minimal!

I keep asking the same question so many times. I loved @JohnCBader 's post about this. I think it really is beautifully written and wonderfully explained.

Someone served goat brains - though I didn't have it; the sight of meat made me sick for quite a long time after that. Also on a college trip (in India) I was about to have sliced buffalo tongue... so glad someone warned me before that!

@brpraveen I might have to send you a cake for saying this! :)
Do keep us posted - via anything! And if there is any way I can help, please do tell me. :)
@brpraveen Brownie points for saying nice things!
I would so agree. Having just blogged after weeks I understand how lost one can get. Though I have a personal blog, I use it as a sample of my writing work. And recently when I applied for a freelance work (I did get it!); the first thing they asked me was whether I could handle being regular for them because I haven't blogged for a long time at my own blog. It took convincing but I could have done without it if I had been regular!

Looking forward to Tuesdays then! I am not such a huge fan of poetry but I do enjoy some now and then. My favorite is Keats.

@RAAckermanATCerebrations Thank you so much. I am too.
Her baby, Ayesha, is such an angel. She sleeps ALL the time, her mom is counting her blessings - its been only 16 days. We never know!
@Harleena Singh Ya it has been mixed bag emotions for the past few weeks, But I am so glad its back to normal. I love the way Jack writes and I am probably his biggest fan. If only I could stalk him! ;)
I am so glad you all understand and still come by after weeks of no activity here! :) Thanks so much!
@Joshua Wilner/A Writer Writes Its an image that never goes. I keep telling him that I hate seeing him like that and he says "you just have to start realizing that I am growing old". He is so much better now but still. I am so glad I was there with him that day.
Being an aunt / uncle is so amazing; I get to spoil the kids and they love me for that. I do make my sisters a little angry when I break their "rules".
I am using the time off so well that I actually am proud of myself! LOL
