Great advice to make sure guest authors get Google Authorship. It is one the incentives that rewards the author - and the blog owner benefits from the additional traffic. I always encourage people who are looking for blogs to guest post on, to check to make sure they are getting authorship before they send the request.

On my blog I have the Authorship feature built in with the Thesis Awesome blogskin I use. But there are some really light-weight plugins that bloggers can use so they don't have to worry about code. One good plugin is called Better Author Bio Box.

When I email guest authors to tell them that their post is live, I will also remind them to add their author link to the Google + profile. I get a lot more traffic from posts when the Authorship shows up!

Thanks for putting the word out and providing the detailed instructions.

Hi @vidiseo

I use Screencast-o-matic Pro. I find this to be the most affordable and full featured recording software available for pc. I also use it to record my podcasts. Screenr is great but you can't edit the videos or add overlays, transitions, etc. Screenr did come in handy when I recorded a How To Use Screencast-o-Matic video.

Hi Alice, I love how you have embraced video in your marketing strategy. I'm using most of what you mentioned here with the exception of the transcript. It on the top of my to do list though!

I'm not totally sold on the usefulness of InVideo programming for the type of content I post on YouTube. I'm not seeing any additional traffic but I'm still testing. Thanks for the post Alice.

Hi @ginidietrich @bethhayden If I'm not selling any of my own products, what advantage will I get from having a business page on Pinterest versus a Profile?

@netcaststudio Thanks so much for the invitation. I'd love to be on the show. When can you fit me in?

@netcaststudio Hi Steve, I see it there now. I missed it the first time because I was looking for Ronnie's name to be in the title of the episode.  I don't have a smartphone so I'm pleased to see that Stitcher has a webapp page now. I agree with you about the widget and I don't plan on using it either.

Love me some Ronnie Bincer (he already knows this but I'm sure he is blushing anyway). I always recommend podcasters to follow Ronnie on Google +. Most podcasters are fumbling around trying to figure out how to do Hangouts on Air but if they just add Ronnie to their circles they can master the craft in no time at all.

Thanks for having him on the show.

btw - when I click on your Stitcher link, it takes me to the sign up page and not your show. When I did finally find the show - this episode wasn't appearing in the list. I know it's not anything that you are doing, I just wanted to make you aware of it. I heard that Stitcher has a new desktop widget but I haven't seen it in action yet.

Hi Ann! This is really a nice tribute. I’m honored to be included on the list among some of the greatest bloggers on YouTube. I'm subscribed to most of these channels already but I'll be sure to subscribe to the others as well. I really love the way you pulled together those screenshots too. Nice work. Thanks so much!

Hi John, I work for a non-profit and I can certainly make use of some of these tips. I think it's also important to check Google Analytics to find out what people who come to your site are searching for.

In our case, we sell some technical documents, and it turns out that an overwhelming number of searches are for "free" documents. My suggestion was to offer some portion of the document for free just so people could find what they are looking for. At least that keeps people on the site longer and gives them a taste of what they are in search of.

Hi Matt, I like your tips. Here's another one I've used in the past. Record a video response to another YouTuber's hot video. You can tell them how much you enjoyed there video or you can create a video which complements there's in some way. For example you can provide additional information or share your experiences related to the topic. Thanks!

LeadPlayer sounds like a cool plugin. Right now I'm using Viewbix. It adds interactive features including email subscription optin forms for most providers. The stats that come with it are great too. It will be nice to match these two up head-to-head and see which one gives the most bang for your buck! Thanks for the contest.

Hi Srini, David and Kit. I'm starting to become more active in the SlideShare community and I really enjoyed this interview. @zsazsa  mentioned a user who is a librarian with some awesome slide decks, where can I find that user? I have a librarian's group that I'd love to share the content with. Thanks!

Hi Brankica, I love blogging too! But I will add to your list anyway. It sucks to have information overload all the time!  I have about 15 tabs open right now with great blog posts I need to read and comment on. Of course I picked your first :) Thanks for the post. I need to get that off my chest.
