It doesn't seem like the man can be mocking in Luke 23:42. I Corinthians 12:3 says, "no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost".

Amen! Micah 7:15 told ahead of time, "According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto him marvellous things." Israel was shown marvelous things for 40 years (from around 30 AD to 70 AD), and that was done to confirm the gospel while scripture was still being written. "And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen." - Mark 16:20 The word they preached was confirmed with signs because they couldn't say, "You know over in Ephesians 1" it says XYZ. Ephesians was still being written, along with the other New Testament books. Once the scripture was completed, there was no more need for signs.
