I think the top 4 like it even less than Rafa if they have to play him in the Qtrs. Can't think any of them would want to.
@jake mendez Ferrer gained 480 points Rafa didn't gain any points because he was defending the title.
@Liam1 Don't let the facts get in your way, why leave out the fact that Fed only has one clay slam?
@Caprice I take your point but the price Rafa will pay for Ferrer getting justice is not worth it.
@Caprice This scenario will take Rafa back to #5 because he can't gain points at RG whereas Ferrer will if he makes the final.
@tamaskee @AlexTodorovic Watch this space!
@AlexTodorovic Novak won't stick around for too long because he hasn't got the game to do so. He is a flash in the pan and his express train is slowing down; he enjoyed some borrowed time because of Rafa's absence. So many times, Nole has scrapped by the skin of his teeth but his luck will run out. It did not take him the best part of 6 years to achieve great heights for nothing; he just doesn't have the talents of Roger and Rafa.
Nole is a late developer because it doesn't come to him naturally.
@cyrilcanada Federer crawled under a stone for 7 weeks after losing to Rafa, The Comeback Kid.
@ClaireMcDaniel Murray is part of the big 4 because he has held a top 4 ranking for close on 5 years, but yes, he is not yet a 'great'.
