Next season looks bright: Fisher is gone, KMart will only return for a MLE size contract, Perk, should be amnestied if there is another big to fill his shoes. oh and RW will be back.
@Amnesty Perkins @ThunderBelize I wouldn';t go so far as to say terrible - all year long... but he has become progressively more inadequate and I firmly believe that his effort - or desire to right the ship - is what is causing more of these blunders.
Wow... I have been a supporter of Perk - as a strong role player - however seeing this first half of his and while i sit here and do my best to not over react, I can't help but scratch my head and cuss at my TV.
Worse than perk though is that our guys are looking defeated already... like the outcome is determined and they just need to run out the time... get some heart and some balls and some mutha effing pride and fight.

@wyattherpentine You, equally, cannot objectively watch Tayshaun hitting KD's arm in game 3 or Z-Bo hacking KD across the arms in game 4 and say those were the right calls. In fact you'd be lying if you could objectively and unbiasedly say those were not missed calls.
Can't blame the wins and loses on the refs, but those are two instances where the refs missed pretty obvious calls - AND at a very crucial time of both games - would they have chagned the outcome, we'll never know, but they should have been called.
So tough to watch blatant fouls get missed in crunch time. 2 games straight now, very obvious fouls on KD have not been called in the last couple minutes. I hate complaining about the Refs and I think for the most part they have done a good job, but missing those 2 obvious fouls taints my view of the game. Reminds me of game 2 vs Heat last year. So obvious and yet not called.
Overall though, I think the Thunder need to put the ball in Reggies hands and create something via pick and roll with Ibaka. Do that 3 out 5 plays and at the very least we get solid open looks, which in my opinion is better than a 1 vs 3 KD jumper.
Damn you @Royce! Your objectivity and perspective stink when they mean you may be right in picking the other team... BUT I still believe in (Y)OUR team and think OKC takes this in 6.
Make or miss league... I'm not reading too much into this game because of that fact. Tonight the rockets made and OKC missed... If we were the young team searching for positives it would be that on a very off night for us and a very on night for them, we only lost by 7 pts.
Biggest disappointment with the game - KD turning into the arm flapping, pouting "leader" that he was a couple years back.
Worst part of this injury... Effing Skip's soapbox just got bigger!!
Anyone know what Durant would need to secure the scoring title in David Robison-esque fashion?
@RoyceYoung - I am going to frame this...
"So clearly, Harden was just riding Nick’s coattails the whole time."
So the Heat lost... step 1 of my prediction has come true. Big win streak ends in final weeks of season... NExt they play sub par ball for the rest of the season and limp into the playoffs...
who screen shot my prediction a few months back.
@MJOKC Nothing wrong with that, but hard to find Thunder apparel on Walmart.com... if anyone is in a wally's world or Target or similar (Sports store in one of the malls) and you see an orange onesie (pref 0-3 or 3-6 months) pick up and I'll PayPal you the money for it and the shipping...
@KatieLL I secretly have thought about this ploy way too much as well... Brewer locked in a video room watching Lebron footage day and night and then practicing his defence in a virtual simulator...
@ThunderChick2010 Yeah, last friday, 6lb 9oz, lil girl!!!
I want it before playoffs start as I suspect some late night feedings with closed caption on!!
i am in need of a good place for a Thunder Onesie for my newborn baby! Anyone have a link to a good online store?
Dear Mr. Brooks,
I have kindly gone out of my way to do some research for you on how to manage rotations. You see as a long time Seattle fan I cried in 96 when George Karl put Hersey Hawkins and Detlef Schremf on MJ for 3 games when the DPOY, Gary "Glove" Payton was available. So I called George this morning and asked him candidly as I could without disrespecting him. I said: "George do you regret your choice to play Hawkins and Schremf on MJ for the first 3 games of the 96 finals?" His response, surprised me: "Hell yeah I do! My best shot at a title and I stuck with my 'rotation' over best match ups. I ignored the media, my players and Wally Walker (Though he later admitted not regreating that) and it backfired."
"Do you have any advice for a young coach in a similar position, like say, Scott Brooks in OKC?" I pressed.
"Oh yeah for sure! Sit Fisher down and match up with who you are playing. You equal or dominate at every position in almost every match up EXCEPT with Fisher playing. Scotty, my friend, don't make the mistake I did. I beg you!"
"Thank you George, best of luck in the playoffs. I relay your sentiment to Coach Brooks."

Need I say more, Coach?
Sincerley,
OKC's Die hard fan base voice of reason.
First?
@ThunderWins @OKC035 Any discussion of LBJ and fouls should be linked to the closing seconds of Game 2 of the finals last year.
