@annlyn seriously, when the Spurs lost, my first thought was oh, darn. My second thought was that freakin' Kassandra was going to go on and on and on and on and on about how Stern is evil and has rigged the NBA. I was not wrong. On the plus side, if the Heat wins, Kassandra will not be able to tell us how awesome it is that Patty Mills won a championship. So there's that.

@annlyn The fact that he exclaimed over Phoenix's fabulous weather on a day that it was 108 (!) makes me think he would not like Portland. Of course he went to Pitt, right? So maybe he'd survive.
@Dan_tm @Section323 yeah, I would agree with the small occasional wrapper, etc, especially if it's dry and can go in recycling. The dog poop is all the same guy, and he only lives 3 doors down, so he's just an ass who doesn't want dog poop in his own garbage can. If he doesn't want it, why would I? I'm too wimpy to call him on it.
Garbage in front of your can is doubly rude- hey, you pick this up, I don't feel like it.
@Dan_tm @Section323 this is the same can I had to rummage through to remove the smoke detector that went off in there. It has been a fantastic week for garbage.
so what's the collective view on putting garbage in other people's garbage cans as you walk by? My neighbors moved out and left their can at the curb- it was about 5 days before garbage day. The can was full to overflowing when they put it out.
Since then, I believe the following has been thrown in there: a 9 volt battery; 6-ish bags of dog poop (didn't look too closely at these); random plastic bag; remains of a lunch, including 2 glass bottles; and remains of someone's dinner, which they spilled around the ground as well. And there's still 24 hours to go. This seems pretty obnoxious to me, especially when the stupid can is already full. But maybe the world views this differently than I do.
@skywaker9 (David) economically that's probably exact opposite of who's most likely to benefit from it. Guess it's like poor whites in the South voting for Republicans.
