@OconeeDawg706 @bigredballer  True but look at Dallas and Dillon Lee. Guys these days tend to look more at the depth chart, and less at the brick and mortar. Never quit working a player. Especially one with potential of Warmack.

@RxDawg @Jesse1  I know folks who would be in favor of  player unionization if it included a universal clause which demanded 1:00 pm kickoffs lol  Some people just don't like night football, and associate it with LSU or high school.

2 weeks, 5 days ago on UGA Players Speak Out On Unionization

What will be the fallout? What will be the unintended consequences? At many if not most colleges and universities, there exists a thin line of detente between academia and athletics. Player unionization could cause this uneasy peace to become open warfare between academics and what some in academia term the "Toy Department." Rather than get into bidding for recruits services, schools may go "Ivy" and eliminate scholarships exclusively geared to athletics and/or require prospective athletes to meet a much higher percentage academic standard to gain admission to a school. This would effectively be telling the NFL,NBA, etc to fund their own farm leagues, thus changing forever the face of collegiate athletics. Factor in  the elimination of the Title IX exemption for football, and the NCAA along with big time football and basketball programs are dead. The College and University Presidents might take this opportunity to seize back control of a part of the school many consider to have run amuck. Some might say, "what about the money?" Most of the richest schools in the country are not known for their athletic prowness, and the majority of alumni would of schools that do would get over it sooner than later.Their loyalty is to the school first. Auburn and some others may take a different direction, but I doubt UGA would remain a player in a format that allowed bidding wars for the services of athletes.

@dougscoffee @HeelDawg @ecdawg @Bulldawg36  As far as offensive linemen, we won't really know until 2016 or 2017 if they are special or overrated.

@OconeeDawg706 @dougscoffee  In spite of his character flaws, Donnan was a master when it came to projecting a players development. When he inked Jonas Jennings some folks went ballistic on the pay sites cause JJ wasn't in the AJC Super 11. Donnan, with his usual tact and charm told us at the Augusta Bulldog Club meeting later that year that he hd forgotten more football than those "meatheads" at the AJC, and that Jennings was far and away the best offensive lineman in the state.

@ecdawg @Bulldawg36  +1. Where they come from is of no concern to me. Chances are the best O linemen in Ohio, California, Florida, and Texas will be better and far deeper than other states.

@Bulldawg36  We will get some. OL is still the most hit or miss position on the field. I don't care where the guy is from. Most could care less about the bricks and mortar, and are focused on playing time and position coach.Mitch Hyatt is an exception. Good footwork, big frame, and a nasty attitude are the main prerequisites.History shows OL are more often than commonly believed, developed. Last years draft featured several first round picks at OL who were 2-3 star guys out of high school. And #5 in the first round arrived in Norman as a quarterback.

Already has offers from LSU, Miami,Fl, Cal-Berkeley, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Missouri, Kentucky, and others like Clemson showing interest. @The1TrueDawg +100,  since fundamentals were the defenses glaring weakness, I believe Pruitt is line checking the whole operation from the bottom up. Tackling 101, correct stance, etc. Areas the defense certainly needs major improvement in.If players don't perform the little things well, it stands to reason they will be slow on the take with regard to scheme.
