hopefully the kid nmakes it and if he turns out to be at the least a situational pass rusher on 3rd down, then he's worth it. we have got to find guys who can bring pressure
that would be ridiculous! it would prolong bradys career another 3 or 4 years and with their passing attack, if he stayed healthy, hewould lead the league in rushing and terrorize us for the next 5 years. dont think reggie mac would do that (hope not)
good article, but i was sold on the guy when larry fitzgerald said he's the one corner that he hates facing. coming from larry, im impressive!
get em all i say. burflict is intriguiging. seems like he has the randy moss, play when i wanna syndrome, but when he's motivated, look out. do we have the leadership to hone his skills like say a ray lewis would do on defense cause our linebackers are young kids as well
wait till the guys who have been their realize that you can do things another way besides the al way (r.i.p. mr davis) and they will respond. i think branch, huff, and mcclain have monster seasons this year. even though he has shown glimpses, huff was so great at texas that i cant believe he hasn't played to his full potential yet, i believe he will this year. i also think curry comes up huge when used right. i know its only a footb all game, but curry had 18 sacks in my season on madden cause he is so fast off that edge. allen and tarver have some talent on d to work with, but we need a little more. hey, what do you guys think of burflict with one of those picks. i know everyones been dogging him and he's dropping quick, but he seems like a football player to me. the question is whaqt is he from monday to saturday!
i believe henderson resigned with the vikes and lawson is in green bay visiting (thats what i read last anyways). we should bring thomas howard back if he's available out there as a back up plan if lawson doesn't work out. by the way, is lawson really that good? heard some chatter that he stinks in coverage and is not a good open field tackler. i dont know, thats what i heard.
why are people so high on jones, cause he's fast? he didn't show me anything outside the pre season that would even make me think he was a good backup. all he did was sit on the injury cart with dmac, ford, and others.
personally im surprised kellys name hasn't popped up in no off season conversation yet, cut or resigned or restructured. i still dont think were done making those types of moves, maybe his bonus date or something hasn't arrived yet. they cant be totally pleased with his play thus far (im not), even though it has improved since seymour arrived. just thought he would be better against the run
heard jackson was looking at 11+ a year!
i think their working something with wimbley as well or he would be cut by now. i would like to keep him, but if he doesn't want to help use out, then he got to go, point blank. he's definitely not worth the contract mr davis gave him, but a lot of people say just keep him cause if we cut him, we owe him like 6 mil anyways this year. my problem with that is how will he be received in the locker room for one, and he could have a strained relationship with owner and staff. its a sticky situation for us, and i think besides the coaching search (which i for one like), this is mr mckenzies first big decision he's gonna have to make, and it might not be too well received by the raider nation.
he has definitely improved no doubt but he still has a long way to go, especially as a roue runner. i'll tell you his 3 routes, 1. fake deep and run the out pattern, 2. go deep in a straight line, or 3. we run a play action and he runs the drag route across the middle and is the option when nobody else in the universe is open. a vet needs to come in and help the kid, cause he has the desire to learn (not vet like housh, thanks hue).
i think dhb will get the 3rd spot of the triplets, but moore seems to have a better knack of locating and playing the ball in the air. bey did improve immensely though he seemed to be in hue's dog housefor some reason which was never really explained
with the personnel we have and adding a few pieces (subtracting some too), we can be a force. hopefully dmac can stay healthy and with carson getting a off season to pepare, i believe we can push some teams and make a run for it.
so people say trade mcfadden still, so i ask you to who? teams with multiple picks aka new england? yea there we go, strenghthen a strong team already again (moss). we would be dumb to trade mcfadden, and its funny cause the 2 main excused i hear for carsons performance last year is what, 1. got up off the couch to play, and 2. didn't have the luxury of having mcfadden behind him like campbell had earlier in the season! you either want him or you dont. people say bush carried us, well he did in november, but in december we couldn't lean on him and teams didnt respect him to hit the homerun ball, which is why he was caught from behind on many big plays last year that dmac took to the house, or would have. restructure for him is a whole different topic, but as far as getting rid of him now, we would def. win 4 games next year!
hopefully the "trade mcfadden" nonesense stops now among our fans. coach allen said it was harder to prepare for the raiders when he was part of the gameplan. thats something we all know, and the injury history is disturbing, but arian foster misses games, adrian peterson misses games and their fans arent hollering trade em, so why should we.
pretty soon were gonna have to anny up and pay veldheer
we cant afford another big contract like the one jackson will be after, if he even gets out of s.d. someone said resign schillens, are you kidding me. we got to rework this cap issue first. the steelers were in worst shape than us and restructured bens contract and saved 8 million dollars! so what that tells me is wimbley, huff, kelly, and curry better be ready when the time comes to wheel and deal cause that can be a whole lot of space from where were at now. we could use wimbleys money to possibly throw at mario williams, just a thought.
me personally, i wouldn't tag either one. branch i believe will resign, unless another team in need of a safety throws the mega dollars at him (cowboys).
