@Tonitrus @International Man of Mystery (Dion Shot First) the thing i most dislike about Robes is that he allows the opposition to rest whatever defender is guarding him. To me thats more of a problem against starters, where good players are resting.

Bench guys get their rest on the bench so the guy guarding him would just be the opposition's worst defender

@Tonitrus @International Man of Mystery (Dion Shot First) I like that lineup too. but robes seems to have trouble with bigger SF's so i don't know how much he'd help having to play there full time.

It would be a great bench unit though

@Tonitrus @International Man of Mystery (Dion Shot First) there are always tradeoffs. but if the only way a team can score against you is shoot midrange jumpers.  I think most stats guys would take that.

and that lineup would outscore almost any team on pure offense alone

@Tonitrus @International Man of Mystery (Dion Shot First) I'd play zone with that starting lineup only because i think they are bad defensively on the perimiter and zone would cover for the fact that they couldn't guard anyone one on one.

Serge and adams rim protection would fix the rest

@Chandler Bing. @International Man of Mystery (Dion Shot First) if you took all the guys on the bench(non starters) and turned them into 1 bench unit it would be terrible. So bench A and B. would be the most played bench units

we are talking about the same robes who averages 4 and 4 in 20mpg right. thats pretty bad

Starters russ lamb* KD, Serge, Adams, and play Zone like the begining of the season

Bench A. Reggie, Waiters, perry, KD, Serge

Bench B Russ, Lamb, Robes nick, Steve

Finishers. Russ, KD, Serge and whoever is playing well

*(minimum 10mpg if having an off night give the rest of his minutes to morrow)

@_justin @International Man of Mystery (Dion Shot First) Brook lopez was also an opportunity trade as he has no real value to this team.

Adams and ibaka and eventually mitch will have all the center minutes locked up. OKC needs a millsap type much more then lopez

@_justin @International Man of Mystery (Dion Shot First) a first round pick is nothing, when it's protected, so it might not be given away this year.

2. you didn't sign last years first round pick because you gave jerrett a guarenteed deal

3. because you plan on trading reggie/perry/lamb/whoever for a better pick and you don't have roster space for 2 guys

@_justin @International Man of Mystery (Dion Shot First) bad coaching is keeping morrow from making open 3's, as brooks rotations are causing him to have to work harder defensively and are killing his legs. Which reduces his range.

Just like a few years ago when Thabo was hurt and Cook started. Brooks continues to raid the end of the bench for replacement starters.

If they are good enough to start why don't they play regularly. Perry could easily take 4-6 of KD's minutes and another 8-10 from perk most nights

@TheresABabyFaceUnderMyBeard @International Man of Mystery (Dion Shot First) I Think the thunder is all about the process and presti wouldn't care if KD decided to leave. It would suck but he'd just start the rebuild which would take 2-3 years tops.

I was more referring to the Idea that no organization such as OKC would ask guys as competitive as KD and Russ to pass on a season in/near their primes and expect it to go over well

16 hours, 23 minutes ago on Monday Bolts – 1.26.15

Counter fix to the previous OKC-NO-Brooklyn trade i proposed.

Has to be done in 2 seperate trades to make the math work

Trade 1. OKC get Tyreeke

NO get Lopez, Lamb and Jones

             Brooklyn Get Perk and Asik

Trade 2. Brooklyn get John salmons and Quincy pondexter

              NO get Jaret Jack

Final Rosters

NO: PG Holiday SG Gordon SF Perry PF Davis C Lopez

Bench : Jack, Lamb, Anderson, Ajinca ( plus a lottery pick this summer)

Brooklyn Gets a future pick and cuts over 20 million in long term sallary

OKC. Gets Rid of Perk and gets a top SG/SF

Everybody wins

Since we're talking about ridiculous trades and scenario's here's OKC's worst case doomsday scenario.

Its 2016  and KD decides to leave.  OKC will at the very least get a trade exception for KD.

OKC would still have Russ, and serge for another year and Robes, Huestis, Adams and McGary locked in long term. I'd say that Presti goes Scorched earth. trades Russ and serge For as many high lotto picks as possible (think wiggins for love type trade) and OKC spend the year tanking while starting

Vet PG who Sucks, Robes, Huestis, Mitch and Adams aka the Blue. Build the team around Adams. and playing good defense. then draft 2 guys in the top 10 for the next 2-3 years and be stacked again
