thank you for this review, our passion is social community management, and this book has a lot of insights...
I loved the part about 2-way relationship...what they call "listen to your community" - you can't really build relatiaonship with your social community without hearing what they have to say.
Another key point is the ability to focus your efforts, it's easy to miss engagements with important people to your biz...

Indeed, this is a very important tip... when u take the time and own your domain, you own more then just the recurrent users and branding.. you force yourself to decide on a marketing/branding strategy and align it with the domain name... something that is very hard to do down the road...

The big question is more about how to scale the way you build relationship, where "thanks for RT" is part of it...
I believe in building meaningful personal relationship with your community :) however it's hard to do it at scale.. and this is one of the reasons we build Commun.it, to help you focus on the high-value members that matter to you, and make sure you thank them for the RT :) since they are part of your loyal tribe...

while reading your post i started thinking... We all use daily the social media clients to manage our feed, tools like co-tweet (we know you love them :) ) or hootsuite, tweetdeck etc, how do you see sprout-social compared to them? does it replace them all together or complete them ? we have now many tools to solve different pains in SM and it will be very interesting to see where you position this compare to the others :)
