This fourth wave of social media is interesting. I'm actually very wary of it because people are getting marketted way too much. Not only that, but it's very introverted type of marketing. Meaning that businesses pull what you like and they feed it back to you. The problem is that people are now only getting narrow perspectives of the world. The internet instead of broadening people's perspectives and making them more open minded is now a tool to narrow focuses and cause people to become more narrow minded. It's kind of scary.

@shkhanal Thanks for joining. After I signed up and verified my account, I was given my affiliate manager's contact information. I actually didn't wait for them to approve me, I just emailed him and let him know who I was and inquired about getting expedited in the approval process. I was literally approved the next morning. My affiliate manager wrote me back quickly and offered any assistance. They're very responsive.

I am well familiar with this fear. I often get scam letters in the mail about loan modifications. You can often contact the bank yourself and investigate a loan mod directly. This is probably the safest way to go.

@TheJackB It's definitely worth it. $80 bucks is for the 1080p version. I think it's a pretty good deal for everything that you get and if it helps you cut the cord on cable or satellite, then it'll be a huge money saver in the long run. Also, if you have a 720p tv, you can go for the cheaper model that goes to 720p for $60. I have one of those as well on one of my small tvs.

The most important thing you can do to be successful blogging is to pick a topic that you are passionate about. Don't just blog about blogging or blog about making money online because that's what everyone else is doing. Go through your list of hobbies and pick one that you can talk about all day. Think of the ones that your friends roll their eyes at when you start in on the topic because you've talked them to death about it. Then start a blog about that and write about it in the same way you might talk to your friends about it.
I agree! I manually edited my blog's theme to make the font larger and actually made the line spacing a bit bigger as well to improve readability.

I love trying out new technology, including all the task list apps. I actually have moved away from the pen and paper task list. However, for a quick note I do find it faster to just find a pencil and paper to make a note. That's probably why it's hard to move completely to a techie solution. Siri helps a lot though and I'm slowly, but surely getting used to speaking my reminders.

I personally don't like to do a hard sell on my blog. Rather, I talk about the tips, techniques and products that I use and how it helps me out without trying to pitch the product. I try to give valuable information and speak from personal experience.
@fkysmile You're right. This is a post from 18 months back. I don't delete my old posts. I find that many of these social media advertising outlets often change their procedures. I think it's because it's a new medium and they are still finding their way. Mylikes doesn't appear to automatically retweet likes anymore. However, they've removed their tweet limit. Also, I've found that their offers are much lower these days.
