@KONP and the Leafs are drowning in the money of delusional fans and corporate season ticket holders so they can afford to pay 26mil to free up the cap space

@KONP because despite being sponsored by Nationwide the Jackets didn't have insurance on Horton's contract

@Leeeny @Gmus @Rage My next door neighbor was a fighter pilot in the pacific during the war, he died about 10 years ago. I remember him telling his daughter after she bought a Toyota that if she ever parked it in his driveway he'd set it on fire

@Leeeny @Rage @Gmus My grandfather was pretty lucky. He was able to do a semester of college before he was drafted in 1943. After basic he transferred to the aircorps because he wanted to be a pilot, he trained as a pilot, but before he was able to complete his training he was transferred to the infantry because they needed men. He then transferred to the Army Corps of Engineers which entailed more training. He got to Europe on the day the Germans surrendered and spent the summer of 1945 in Rouen in Normandy. All he had to do was operate heavy equipment because they had German prisonors do all the grunt work.
