I have to take this one bite at a time:
1. The headlines look much more readable; thanks for saving my eyes. lol
2. Triberr: I never expect much traffic from Triberr, but can't discount the "being everywhere" factor, social shares, and how those social shares actually increase my/your traffic from Twitter.
3. I like the Topics idea, but I'd love to see it fixed on the left - people will rarely scroll back up to look for more content, you don't have any related content under your posts, and there aren't too many interlinks in your posts, and unless I want to learn more about you or buy some books (that's what it sounds like anyway), I am out.
4. Love your love for data! That's precisely why this is my fourth major blog redesign in the past couple of years. :)

I love the NextScripts idea; I hope it doesn't screw up the formatting of a post.

By the way, any reason you have two Livefyre boxes?
Fun post, Sarah!

I choose to generally ignore the rules (within reason) - mostly because if someone wants to cause trouble, they'll find a reason.
For instance, someone can easily share an image that's not their own under Creative Commons; I've seen it happen time and time again.
Nonetheless, it's good to be aware of the legalese.

Very interesting discussion, Justin.
Sometimes I feel I have no backbone; I am so easily swayed either way.
I do love some of the features of LF; especially now that they made some changes.
I also hear @askkim - CL is what helped us build our blog communities.
You also saw my recent post about having to delete that many comments and the amount of bandwidth they eat up; in that respect, an external system like this is would be great...

CL income? Hard to say - I think it was both email list and blog, but I'd say mostly email list.
I think the main difference is in our traffic sources, Justin.

Of course, much of SEO depends on the overall domain authority. I haven't checked yours, but that's always a great reason for higher rankings.
Also, Google likes to add fresh entries to the first page, I hope you'll be able to maintain the rankings in the long run.

2 years, 8 months ago on Ana Hoffman: How to Get PR7 Link from Top Social Media
Last time I checked, FB comments on blog weren't indexable by Google, which means that it's great for bloggers (no link leakage, plus additional exposure on FB), but not so hot for the commentators - their comments are not directly connected to their blog in any way, so they won't get traffic or links as a result.
I wouldn't do that to my readers...
2 years, 9 months ago on Why Bother Using Facebook Commenting System?
I think you are missing a big point here, DJ.
Your readers don't really care about your conversations with Jenna - really.
When they leave a comment on your blog, they'd like to get some benefit from it; mainly, a backlink to their blog that brands THEM, not LiveFyre.
Personally, I don't bother commenting on LiveFyre blogs for that reason.

A CEO should be in the trenches with the team as that shows leadership and builds respect. If he / she is open to both positive and negative interaction with the public, it shows commitment to excellent service and that they care about the community. Great post!

Interesting approach to the topic, Leo - very insightful. A little (or a lot) digging around before you choose a business direction goes a long way indeed.
Authority, in my opinion, is never a given; it's always something we need to work on, otherwise someone will come in who knows more, has a fresher perspective, and your glass factory will be closed in a heartbeat.

Good tools, Gini - although I don't REALLY think they'll help you with SEO that much.
I must confess though, I've looked into DIYSEO for my readers, but haven't really tested it out; just doesn't seem like a robust enough tool to use.
My suggestion you need to learn the basics. If you want to do SEO, you need to learn about it; no question.
Not to blow my own trumpet, but I offer a very nifty free report on SEO on my blog at http://www.trafficgenerationcafe.com/get-free-report/ - it'll teach your readers all the basics they ever wanted to learn about SEO and some.
