@profkrg @chattyprof I see a lot of pics that really would be a shame to be called creative work, but then again, I am no artist. ;-)
@profkrg @amberrisme Should be some interesting feedback. I'll look forward to hearing about how divided they are or united, either way.
I call bullshit. The photo is no longer private when it gets uploaded. She really should get over herself. Sorry to be harsh, but it's true.
I also just was emailed this resource that might benefit you, @PegFitzpatrick http://www.websearchsocial.com/plagiarism-interview-jonathan-bailey?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=plagiarism-interview-jonathan-bailey&utm_source=WebSearchSocial&utm_campaign=b19726d780-RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_medium=email
I'm with you on everything except for "blogtastic". A lot of people use it and have for a loooong time. If people can't be creative enough to come up with their own shit, they need to find another hobby or profession that doesn't include content creation. It pisses me off every time I hear someone has been ripped off by a plagiarist.
@hiyacynthia Rachel is amazing. One of my very favorite people in social media and the writing world.
Thank you so much, Sandy, for listing me. I am flattered and honored. I think your blog should make the list of "to be followed", too. ;-)
Oh, I love the one about excessive widgets and badges to every place you've ever signed up with. What most don't understand is you're simply strengthening and advertising their presence while slowing down your own website. Awesome post. (I'm late, but I told you I'd drop in, so here I am) :-D
That is awesome to have reconnected with your blogging buddy. Good luck with the challenge. Also, I love the changes you've made. The website looks fantastic!
@kimtracyprince Glad you gleaned something from it. Thanks for commenting!
@AlisonSWLee Good point on subscribing before checking out. I see those same people lamenting about no comments and think of how the blogger never gives back. I simply ignore them. If they haven't gotten the hint, it becomes their issue.
@CarpoolGoddess Captchas are like holy water to vampires. They will drive away commenters in droves, and too many advertisements drown the blog itself.
@laurahill9 Laura, I am so glad you enjoyed it, and hope it helps during your quest to become "blogging awesomeness." ;-)
@jsncruz Absolutely willing to spread the word. I do some giveaways, but they are always things people want like money, jewelry, tech gadgets, etc. Link to the "Are you Killing your Blog?" I'd looove to read it.
@David Barber David, that drives me nuts, and I am sure those websites have hideous bounce rates.
@jincomt Yes!! And it sucks when it's one continuing hop or fest. I admittedly do giveaways and reviews, but they are interspersed with tons of great content about a lot of topics people are interested in. I think variety is the spice of life, although others prefer niche marketing (to each its own).
