@slapdoghoops @Daddyfatsax If "If's" were a fifth we'd all be drunk. And if my aunt had nuts she'd be my uncle.
Well reasoned thoughts...You win.
I'm going to start following Houston or another team with a real GM and owner. The Wolves will just be like my cognitively challenged little friend I pat on the head, cheer on when he's throwing ice cubes at the sun to cool down, and expect absolutely nothing good from. ever.
@CollegeWolf Wow, after reading through this list again, the article is really balanced. There are MAYBE two semi-lopsided trades in the whole list. Good, good job.
In a list of trades that "should" happen, some writer (I can't remember where I just read this and don't feel like looking it up) suggests a Josh Smith and Zaza for Pek, Wiliams, and Roy. IF, IF, IF you know the Wolves won't resign Pek, this is a good starting point. I think it creates an awfully unbalanced roster with Love, Smith, and AK but one that is awfully physical and good defensively with Rubio on the floor as well (and Malcolm Lee, the 2013-2014 MVP of the league). All that said, I don't seriously like the trade, I just think it's realistic. No trade with Pek in it, no matter how lopsided either way, is going to sit well with me. But anytime you can add Zaza you gotta do it!
Great conversation my man...good stuff.
Somehow you forgot about Love for Zaza Pachulia because we all irrationally hate Love.
This is legit conversation. I can't follow it all right now, but I must catch up and become a champion of this new idea and pimp it all over the east coast and midwest.
Damnit, the Milsap demolition of Love has begun!
How does Utah and Milsap seem to always destroy Love, aka "Greatness"? I hope I don't get a Utah feed so I don't have to hear it about how much better than Greatness the Utah big men are from that assclown Matt Harpring.
Wolves win if Greatness plays similar to how he did against Phoenix.
Transition defense. Pek sprints to the corner because Love is in the paint with him yet Love wanders in no man's land while a magic player walks behind him for an open dunk.
Now Davis and Love are going at it like Love didn't destroy him in the first half. Ha. good luck baby.
the last defensive possession is exactly what I'm talking about with Love. While HAM is recovering from the PnR, a serious defender is yelling to him to recover to his right (or some directional instruction) while he sprints back to his man. Instead, he just floated in space guarding neither big man while his man snuck up for the tip-in bucket.
The Magic better put someone in to check Pekovic. If he finishes his layups, they are in trouble. He is destroying them.
The Wolves don't need Rubio to beat Miami. Kevin Love will get his game back tonight and have a career game against Boshina and Haslem.
Good luck Orlando, the lion is uncaged tonight, displaying how great of a fit he will be when he's traded for Afflalo.
that's really your dog? Cool shit.
I'm telling ya'll. Lee is playing GREAT man defense.
Love is back to shooting like shit while Faried is beating him all over the place. Please put Dante or even Williams in to keep up with him...
@CollegeWolf have you ever predicted a Wolves win?
Dear Kevin Love,
Until you fix what is broken (believe me my dude, it is broken. It looks terrible. From 3, from the free throws, everything), please stop taking long shots. Your mid-range looks better. Shoot that. and go to the bucket.
- Sincerely,
Your teammates
muuu fyckin SHVED
Of course KG is killing it already and the Wolves are missing all the shots they made last night.
By the way, I personally request more Bonk game threads filled with pictures.
