Blair White!
@MarcusDugan @thellammajockey I've heard Atlanta and even Dallas being tossed out there, too.
I don't have much analytical input to add. I'm just really happy about this win. That was some good stuff today.
Let's go Colts!
Good for Gonzo. I was excited about him after his first two seasons, but it just wasn't meant to be.
It'll be great to track the progression throughout the season. Thanks!
Finally, an analysis of the Jets' offense where any formation utilizing Tebowing isn't referred to as the "Wildcat." It seems the Jets plan to use him in a way similar to the 2006 Gators. Who knows though...
I'm probably going to the game against the Bears, so they better at least win that one.
No mention of Haloti Ngata? He did play rugby in high school after all.
@lolasportstalk Belichick invented football, created the shotgun formation, pioneered the 2-TE set, and initiated the use of no-huddle offenses. Of course he'd get credit for starting a trend on rugby players.
@Platinum Might as well put a strong supporting cast around your rookie QB. I like the draft so far. Scoring someone on defense tomorrow can round it out.
Colts go with the speedster WR.
@thejoshbaker NFLN just said Colts moved up in a trade with SF. I didn't catch the details though.
@RobertItoh Yeah, and it all sets up so nice with Luck's familiarity in multiple TE sets.
Some dissenting opinions on the double TE pick, but I like it. I'm sure Luck will find it helpful to have two reliable TEs as a rookie. The bonus with Fleener is that Luck and him can start/keep practicing while finishing up school.
Saturday just had to go to the Packers...
I can't believe 76% of voters on NFL Network think that the Broncos will win the Super Bowl in 2012.
Sanu had three true freshman QBs throwing to him during his time at Rutgers. He still managed some solid numbers. He definitely has things to improve on, but his positives seem to outweigh the negatives.
Play #5 is great with the play-by-play still shots. You see the defenders freeze at the goal line as Griffin does his fake which is great. All the while you can see #20 come off the snap, engage a defender to sell the run block, disengage the block leaving the defender on the turf, and run wide open in the endzone. The RG #79 even pulls to the left side. That's a fun play to see develop.
@paulcareyjr @LeviFuller I like Bray, but he's had less than 500 attempts in his career. There hasn't been enough to judge quite yet.
